Psalms - కీర్తనలు 120

1. నా శ్రమలో నేను యెహోవాకు మొఱ్ఱపెట్టితిని ఆయన నాకు ఉత్తరమిచ్చెను.

1. In my distress I cried unto the LORD, and He heard me.

2. యెహోవా, అబద్ధమాడు పెదవులనుండియు మోసకరమైన నాలుకనుండియు నా ప్రాణమును విడిపించుము.

2. Deliver my soul, O LORD, from lying lips and from a deceitful tongue.

3. మోసకరమైన నాలుకా, ఆయన నీకేమి చేయును? ఇంతకంటె అధికముగా నీకేమి చేయును?

3. What shall be given unto thee, or what shall be done unto thee, thou false tongue?

4. తంగేడునిప్పులతో కూడిన బాణములను బలాఢ్యుల వాడిగల బాణములను నీమీద వేయును

4. Sharp arrows of the mighty, with coals of juniper!

5. అయ్యో, నేను మెషెకులో పరదేశినై యున్నాను. కేదారు గుడారములయొద్ద కాపురమున్నాను.

5. Woe is me that I sojourn in Meshech, that I dwell in the tents of Kedar!

6. కలహప్రియునియొద్ద నేను చిరకాలము నివసించినవాడను.


6. My soul hath long dwelt with him that hateth peace.

7. నేను కోరునది సమాధానమే అయినను మాట నా నోట వచ్చినతోడనే వారు యుద్ధమునకు సిద్ధమగుదురు.

7. I am for peace; but when I speak, they are for war.
