1. ముప్పదియవ సంవత్సరము నాలుగవ నెల అయిదవ దినమున నేను కెబారు నదీప్రదేశమున చెరలోని వారి మధ్య కాపురముంటిని; ఆ కాలమున ఆకాశము తెరవ బడగా దేవునిగూర్చిన దర్శనములు నాకు కలిగెను.

1. Now it came to pass in the thirtieth year, in the fourth month, on the fifth day of the month, as I was among the captives by the River of Chebar, that the heavens were opened and I saw visions of God.

2. యెహోయాకీను చెరపట్టబడిన అయిదవ సంవత్సరము ఆ నెలలో అయిదవ దినమున కల్దీయుల దేశమందున్న కెబారు నదీప్రదేశమున యెహోవా వాక్కు బూజీ కుమారుడును

2. On the fifth day of the month (which was the fifth year of King Jehoiachin's captivity),

3. యాజకుడునగు యెహెజ్కేలునకు ప్రత్యక్షముకాగా అక్కడనే యెహోవా హస్తము అతనిమీదికి వచ్చెను.

3. the word of the LORD came expressly unto Ezekiel the priest, the son of Buzi, in the land of the Chaldeans by the River Chebar; and the hand of the LORD was there upon him.

4. నేను చూడగా ఉత్తర దిక్కునుండి తుపాను వచ్చు చుండెను; మరియు గొప్ప మేఘమును గోళమువలె గుండ్ర ముగా ఉన్న అగ్నియు కనబడెను, కాంతిదానిచుట్టు ఆవరించియుండెను; ఆ అగ్నిలోనుండి కరగబడినదై ప్రజ్వలించుచున్న యపరంజివంటి దొకటి కనబడెను.

4. And I looked, and behold, a whirlwind came out of the north, a great cloud, and a fire infolding itself; and a brightness was about it, and out of the midst thereof as the color of amber, out of the midst of the fire.

5. దానిలోనుండి నాలుగు జీవుల రూపములుగల యొకటి కనబడెను, వాటి రూపము మానవ స్వరూపము వంటిది.

5. Also out of the midst thereof came the likeness of four living creatures. And this was their appearance: they had the likeness of a man.

6. ఒక్కొక్క దానికి నాలుగు ముఖములును నాలుగు రెక్క లును గలవు.

6. And every one had four faces, and every one had four wings.

7. వాటి కాళ్లు చక్కగా నిలువబడినవి, వాటి అరకాళ్లు పెయ్యకాళ్లవలె ఉండెను, అవి తళతళలాడు ఇత్తడివలె ఉండెను.

7. And their feet were straight feet, and the soles of their feet were like the sole of a calf's foot; and they sparkled like the color of burnished brass.

8. వాటి నాలుగు ప్రక్కలరెక్కల క్రింద మానవ హస్తములవంటి హస్తములుండెను, నాలు గింటికిని ముఖములును రెక్కలును ఉండెను.

8. And they had the hands of a man under their wings on their four sides; and all four had their faces and their wings.

9. వాటి రెక్కలు ఒకదానినొకటి కలిసికొనెను, ఏ వైపునకైనను తిరుగక అవన్నియు చక్కగా నెదుటికి పోవుచుండెను.

9. Their wings were joined one to another. They turned not when they went; they went every one straight forward.

10. ఆ నాలుగింటి యెదుటి ముఖరూపములు మానవ ముఖమువంటివి, కుడిపార్శ్వపు రూపములు సింహ ముఖము వంటివి. యెడమపార్శ్వపు ముఖములు ఎద్దుముఖము వంటివి. నాలుగింటికి పక్షిరాజు ముఖమువంటి ముఖ ములు కలవు.

10. As for the likeness of their faces, all four had the face of a man, and the face of a lion on the right side, and all four had the face of an ox on the left side; they four also had the face of an eagle.

11. వాటి ముఖములును రెక్కలును వేరు వేరుగా ఉండెను, ఒక్కొక జీవి రెక్కలలో ఒక రెక్క రెండవ జతలో ఒకదానితో కలిసి యుండెను; ఒక్కొక జత రెక్కలు వాటి దేహములను కప్పెను.

11. Thus were their faces. And their wings were stretched upward; two wings of every one were joined one to another, and two covered their bodies.

12. అవన్నియు చక్కగా ఎదుటికి పోవుచుండెను, అవి వెనుకకు తిరుగక ఆత్మ యే వైపునకు పోవుచుండునో ఆ వైపునకే పోవు చుండెను.

12. And they went every one straight forward; whither the spirit was to go, they went, and they turned not when they went.

13. ఆ జీవుల రూపములు మండుచున్న నిప్పుల తోను దివిటీలతోను సమానములు; ఆ అగ్ని జీవుల మధ్యను ఇటు అటు వ్యాపించెను, ఆ అగ్ని అతికాంతిగా ఉండెను, అగ్నిలోనుండి మెరుపు బయలుదేరుచుండెను.

13. As for the likeness of the living creatures, their appearance was like burning coals of fire and like the appearance of lamps; it went up and down among the living creatures, and the fire was bright, and out of the fire went forth lightning.

14. మెరుపు తీగెలు కనబడు రీతిగా జీవులు ఇటు అటు తిరుగు చుండెను.

14. And the living creatures ran and returned, like the appearance of a flash of lightning.

15. ఈ జీవులను నేను చూచుచుండగా నేల మీద ఆ నాలుగింటి యెదుట ముఖముల ప్రక్కను చక్రమువంటిదొకటి కనబడెను.

15. Now as I beheld the living creatures, behold, a wheel was upon the earth by each of the living creatures with his four faces.

16. ఆ చక్రములయొక్క రూపమును పనియు రక్తవర్ణపు రాతివలె నుండెను, ఆ నాలుగును ఒక్క విధముగానే యుండెను. వాటి రూప మును పనియు చూడగా చక్రములో చక్రమున్నట్టుగా ఉండెను.

16. The appearance of the wheels and their work was like unto the color of beryl, and all four had the same likeness; and their appearance and their work was, as it were, a wheel in the middle of a wheel.

17. అవి జరుగునప్పుడు నాలుగు ప్రక్కలకు జరుగుచుండెను, వెనుకకు తిరుగకయే జరుగుచుండెను.

17. When they went, they went upon their four sides; and they turned not when they went.

18. వాటి కైవారములు మిక్కిలి యెత్తుగలవై భయంకరముగా ఉండెను, ఆ నాలుగు కైవారములు చుట్టు కండ్లతో నిండి యుండెను.

18. As for their rims, they were so high that they were dreadful; and their rims were full of eyes round about the four.

19. ఆ జీవులు కదలగా ఆ చక్రములును వాటి ప్రక్కను జరిగెను, అవి నేలనుండి లేచినప్పుడు చక్ర ములుకూడ లేచెను.

19. And when the living creatures went, the wheels went beside them; and when the living creatures were lifted up from the earth, the wheels were lifted up.

20. ఆత్మ యెక్కడికి పోవునో అక్క డికే, అది పోవలసిన వైపునకే అవియు పోవుచుండెను; జీవికున్న ఆత్మ, చక్రములకును ఉండెను గనుక అవి లేవగానే చక్రములును లేచుచుండెను.

20. Whithersoever the spirit was to go, they went; thither was their spirit to go: and the wheels were lifted up opposite them, for the spirit of the living creature was in the wheels.

21. జీవికున్న ఆత్మ చక్రములకును ఉండెను గనుక జీవులు జరుగగా చక్రములును జరుగుచుండెను, అవి నిలువగా ఇవియు నిలిచెను, అవి నేలనుండి లేవగా ఇవియు వాటితోకూడ లేచెను.

21. When those went, these went; and when those stood, these stood; and when those were lifted up from the earth, the wheels were lifted up opposite them, for the spirit of the living creature was in the wheels.

22. మరియు జీవుల తలలపైన ఆకాశమండలము వంటి విశాలతయున్నట్టుండెను. అది తళతళలాడు స్ఫటిక ముతో సమానమై వాటి తలలకు పైగా వ్యాపించి యుండెను.

22. And the likeness of the firmament upon the heads of the living creatures was as the color of the terrible crystal, stretched forth over their heads above.

23. ఆ మండలమువంటి దాని క్రింది జీవుల రెక్కలలో రెండేసి యొకదానిప్రక్క ఒకటి పైకి చాప బడియుండెను; రెండేసి వాటి దేహములు కప్పుచుండెను, ఈ తట్టుననున్న జీవులకును ఆ తట్టుననున్న జీవులకును, అనగా ప్రతిజీవికిని ఆలాగున రెక్కలుండెను.

23. And under the firmament were their wings straight, the one toward the other; every one had two which covered on this side, and every one had two which covered on that side of their bodies.

24. అవి జరుగగా నేను వాటి రెక్కల చప్పుడు వింటిని; అది విస్తార మైన ఉదకముల ఘోషవలెను సర్వశక్తుడగు దేవుని స్వరము వలెను దండువారు చేయు ధ్వనివలెను ఉండెను, అవి నిలుచునప్పుడెల్ల తమ రెక్కలను వాల్చుకొనుచుండెను.

24. And when they went, I heard the noise of their wings like the noise of great waters, as the voice of the Almighty, the voice of speech as the noise of a host. When they stood, they let down their wings;

25. అవి నిలిచి రెక్కలను వాల్చునప్పుడు వాటి తలలకు పైగా నున్న ఆకాశ మండలమువంటి దానిలోనుండి శబ్దము పుట్టెను.

25. and there was a voice from the firmament that was over their heads when they stood and had let down their wings.

26. వాటి తలల పైనున్న ఆ మండలముపైన నీల కాంతమయమైన సింహాసనమువంటి దొకటి కనబడెను; మరియు ఆ సింహాసనమువంటి దానిమీద నరస్వరూపి యగు ఒకడు ఆసీనుడైయుండెను.

26. And above the firmament that was over their heads was the likeness of a throne, with the appearance of a sapphire stone; and upon the likeness of the throne was the likeness in appearance of a man above upon it.

27. చుట్టు దాని లోపట కరుగుచున్న యిత్తడియు అగ్నియు నున్నట్టు నాకు కన బడెను. నడుము మొదలుకొని మీదికిని నడుము మొదలు కొని దిగువకును ఆయన అగ్నిస్వరూపముగా నాకు కన బడెను, చుట్టును తేజోమయముగా కనబడెను.

27. And I saw as the color of amber, with the appearance of fire round about within it. From the appearance of His loins even upward and from the appearance of His loins even downward, I saw, as it were, the appearance of fire, and it had brightness round about.

28. వర్ష కాలమున కనబడు ఇంద్ర ధనుస్సుయొక్క తేజస్సువలె దాని చుట్టునున్న తేజస్సు కనబడెను. ఇది యెహోవా ప్రభావ స్వరూప దర్శనము. నేను చూచి సాగిలపడగా నాతో మాటలాడు ఒకని స్వరము నాకు వినబడెను.

28. As the appearance of the rainbow that is in the cloud in the day of rain, so was the appearance of the brightness round about. This was the appearance of the likeness of the glory of the LORD. And when I saw it, I fell upon my face, and I heard a voice of One who spoke.

1. యెహోవా, మాకు కలిగిన శ్రమ జ్ఞాపకము చేసి కొనుము దృష్టించి మామీదికి వచ్చిన నింద యెట్టిదో చూడుము.

1. Remember, O LORD, what is come upon us; consider, and behold our reproach.

2. మా స్వాస్థ్యము పరదేశుల వశమాయెను. మా యిండ్లు అన్యుల స్వాధీనమాయెను.

2. Our inheritance is turned to strangers, our houses to aliens.

3. మేము దిక్కులేనివారము తండ్రిలేనివారము మా తల్లులు విధవరాండ్రయిరి.

3. We are orphans and fatherless, our mothers are as widows.

4. ద్రవ్యమిచ్చి నీళ్లు త్రాగితివిు క్రయమునకు కట్టెలు తెచ్చుకొంటిమి.

4. We have paid money for water we drink; our wood is sold unto us.

5. మమ్మును తురుమువారు మా మెడలమీదికి ఎక్కి యున్నారు మేము అలసట చెందియున్నాము, విశ్రాంతి యనునది మాకు లేదు.

5. Our necks are under persecution; we labor and have no rest.

6. పొట్టకూటికై ఐగుప్తీయులకును అష్షూరీయులకును లోబడియున్నాము.

6. We have given the hand to the Egyptians and to the Assyrians to be provided with bread.

7. మా తండ్రులు పాపము చేసి గతించిపోయిరి మేము వారి దోషశిక్షను అనుభవించుచున్నాము.

7. Our fathers have sinned, and are no more; and we have borne their iniquities.

8. దాసులు మాకు ప్రభువులైరి వారి వశమునుండి మమ్మును విడిపింపగలవా డెవడును లేడు.

8. Servants have ruled over us; there is none that doth deliver us out of their hand.

9. ఎడారిజనుల ఖడ్గభయమువలన ప్రాణమునకు తెగించి మా ధాన్యము తెచ్చుకొనుచున్నాము.

9. We got our bread with the peril of our lives, because of the sword of the wilderness.

10. మహా క్షామమువలన మా చర్మము పొయ్యివలె నలు పెక్కెను.

10. Our skin was black like an oven because of the terrible famine.

11. శత్రువులు సీయోనులో స్త్రీలను చెరిపిరి యూదా పట్టణములలో కన్యకలను చెరిపిరి.

11. They ravished the women in Zion, and the maids in the cities of Judah.

12. చేతులు కట్టి అధిపతులను ఉరితీసిరి వారేమాత్రమును పెద్దలను ఘనపరచలేదు.

12. Princes are hanged up by their hand; the faces of elders were not honored.

13. ¸యవనులు తిరుగటిరాయి మోసిరి బాలురు కట్టెలమోపు మోయజాలక తడబడిరి.

13. They took the young men to grind, and the children fell under the wood.

14. పెద్దలు గుమ్మములయొద్ద కూడుట మానిరి ¸యవనులు సంగీతము మానిరి.

14. The elders have ceased from the gate, the young men from their music.

15. సంతోషము మా హృదయమును విడిచిపోయెను నాట్యము దుఃఖముగా మార్చబడియున్నది.

15. The joy of our heart is ceased; our dance is turned into mourning.

16. మా తలమీదనుండి కిరీటము పడిపోయెను మేము పాపము చేసియున్నాము, మాకు శ్రమ.

16. The crown is fallen from our head. Woe unto us that we have sinned!

17. దీనివలన మాకు ధైర్యము చెడియున్నది. సీయోను పర్వతము పాడైనది

17. For this our heart is faint; for these things our eyes are dim.

18. నక్కలు దానిమీద తిరుగులాడుచున్నవి మా కన్నులు దీని చూచి మందగిలెను.

18. Because of the mountain of Zion which is desolate, the foxes walk upon it.

19. యెహోవా, నీవు నిత్యము ఆసీనుడవై యుందువు నీ సింహాసనము తరతరములుండును.

19. Thou, O LORD, remainest for ever, Thy throne from generation to generation.

20. నీవు మమ్ము నెల్లప్పుడును మరచిపోవుట ఏల? మమ్ము నింతకాలము విడిచిపెట్టుట ఏల?

20. Why dost Thou forget us for ever, and forsake us so long a time?

21. యెహోవా, నీవు మమ్మును నీతట్టు త్రిప్పినయెడల మేము తిరిగెదము. మా పూర్వస్థితి మరల మాకు కలుగజేయుము.

21. Turn Thou us unto Thee, O LORD, and we shall be turned! Renew our days as of old!--

22. నీవు మమ్మును బొత్తిగా విసర్జించి యున్నావు నీ మహోగ్రత మామీద వచ్చినది.

22. But Thou hast utterly rejected us; Thou art very wroth against us.

1. బంగారము ఎట్లు మందగిలినది? మేలిమి బంగారము ఎట్లు మార్చబడినది? ప్రతి వీధి మొగను ప్రతిష్టితమైన రాళ్లు పారవేయ బడియున్నవి.

1. How the gold hath become dim! How the most fine gold hath changed! The stones of the sanctuary are poured out at the head of every street.

2. మేలిమి బంగారముతో పోల్చదగిన సీయోను ప్రియ కుమారులు ఎట్లు కుమ్మరి చేసిన మంటికుండలుగా ఎంచబడు చున్నారు?

2. The precious sons of Zion, comparable to fine gold, how they are esteemed as earthen pitchers, the work of the hands of the potter!

3. నక్కలైనను చన్నిచ్చి తమ పిల్లలకు పాలిచ్చును నా జనుల కుమారి యెడారిలోని ఉష్ట్రపక్షులవలె క్రూరురాలాయెను.

3. Even the seamonsters draw out the breast, they give suck to their young ones; but the daughter of my people has become cruel, like the ostriches in the wilderness.

4. దప్పిచేత చంటిపిల్ల నాలుక వాని అంగిటికి అంటు కొనును పసిపిల్లలు అన్నమడుగుదురు ఎవడును వారికి పెట్టడు.

4. The tongue of the sucking child cleaveth to the roof of his mouth for thirst; the young children ask bread, and no man breaketh it unto them.

5. సుకుమార భోజనము చేయువారు దిక్కు లేక వీధులలో పడియున్నారు రక్తవర్ణ వస్త్రములు తొడిగి పెంచబడినవారు పెంట కుప్పలను కౌగిలించుకొనెదరు.

5. They that fed on delicacies are desolate in the streets; they that were brought up in scarlet embrace dunghills.

6. నా జనుల కుమారి చేసిన దోషము సొదొమ పాపముకంటె అధికము ఎవరును దా నిమీద చెయ్యి వేయకుండనే నిమిషములో ఆ పట్టణము పాడుచేయబడెను.

6. For the punishment of the iniquity of the daughter of my people is greater than the punishment of the sin of Sodom, that was overthrown as in a moment, and no hands stayed on her.

7. దాని ఘనులు హిమముకన్న శుద్ధమైనవారు వారు పాలకంటె తెల్లనివారు వారి శరీరములు పగడములకంటె ఎఱ్ఱనివి వారి దేహకాంతి నీలమువంటిది.

7. Her Nazirites were purer than snow, they were whiter than milk; they were more ruddy in body than rubies, their polishing was of sapphire.

8. అట్టివారి ఆకారము బొగ్గుకంటె నలుపాయెను వారిని వీధులలో చూచువారు వారిని గురుతు పట్ట జాలరు. వారి చర్మము వారి యెముకలకు అంటుకొనియున్నది అది యెండి కఱ్ఱవంటిదాయెను.

8. Now their visage is blacker than coal; they are not known in the streets; their skin cleaveth to their bones, it is withered, it has become like a stick.

9. క్షామహతులు భూఫలములు లేక పొడువబడి క్షీణించి పోయెదరు ఖడ్గహతులు క్షామహతులకన్న భాగ్యవంతులు.

9. They that are slain with the sword are better than they that are slain with hunger; for these pine away, stricken through for want of the fruits of the field.

10. వాత్సల్యముగల స్త్రీల చేతులు తాము కనిన పిల్లలను వండుకొనెను నా జనుల కుమారికి వచ్చిన నాశనములో వారి బిడ్డలు వారికి ఆహారమైరి.

10. The hands of the pitying women have sodden their own children; they were their meat in the destruction of the daughter of my people.

11. యెహోవా తన ఉగ్రతను నెరవేర్చి తన కోపాగ్నిని కుమ్మరించెను సీయోనులో ఆయన అగ్ని రాజబెట్టెను అది దాని పునాదులను కాల్చివేసెను.

11. The LORD hath accomplished His fury; He hath poured out His fierce anger, and hath kindled a fire in Zion, and it hath devoured the foundations thereof.

12. బాధించువాడుగాని విరోధిగాని యెరూషలేము గవునులలోనికి వచ్చునని భూరాజులకైనను లోకనివాసులందరిలో మరి ఎవరి కైనను తోచియుండలేదు.

12. The kings of the earth, and all the inhabitants of the world, would not have believed that the adversary and the enemy should have entered into the gates of Jerusalem.

13. దానిలో నీతిమంతుల రక్తమును ఓడ్చిన దాని ప్రవక్తల పాపములనుబట్టియు దాని యాజకుల దోషమునుబట్టియు

13. For the sins of her prophets and the iniquities of her priests, that have shed the blood of the just in the midst of her,

14. జనులు వీధులలో అంధులవలె తిరుగులాడెదరు వారు రక్తము అంటిన అపవిత్రులు ఎవరును వారి వస్త్రములను ముట్టకూడదు.

14. they have wandered as blind men in the streets; they have polluted themselves with blood, so that men could not touch their garments.

15. పొమ్ము అపవిత్రుడా, పొమ్ము పొమ్ము ముట్టవద్దని జనులు వారితో ననిరి. వారు పారిపోయి తిరుగులాడుచుండగా అన్యజనులైన వారు ఇకను వారిక్కడ కాపురముండకూడదని చెప్పు కొనిరి

15. They cried unto them, "Depart ye; it is unclean! Depart, depart, touch not!" When they fled away and wandered, it was said among the heathen, "They shall no more sojourn there."

16. యెహోవా సన్నిధిని వారిని చెదరగొట్టెను ఆయన ఇకమీదట వారిని లక్ష్యపెట్టడు యాజకులయెడల జనులు గౌరవము చూపకపోయిరి పెద్దలమీద దయ చూపకపోయిరి.

16. The anger of the LORD hath divided them; He will no more regard them; they respected not the persons of the priests, they favored not the elders.

17. వ్యర్థసహాయముకొరకు మేము కనిపెట్టుచుండగా మా కన్నులు క్షీణించుచున్నవి మేము కనిపెట్టుచు రక్షింపలేని జనముకొరకు ఎదురు చూచుచుంటిమి.

17. As for us, our eyes as yet failed for our vain help: in our watching we have watched for a nation that could not save us.

18. రాజవీధులలో మేము నడువకుండునట్టు విరోధులు మా జాడలనుబట్టి వెంటాడుదురు మా అంత్యదశ సమీపమాయెను మా దినములు తీరిపోయినవి మా అంత్యదశ వచ్చే యున్నది.

18. They hunt our steps, that we cannot go in our streets; our end is near, our days are fulfilled, for our end has come.

19. మమ్మును తరుమువారు ఆకాశమున ఎగురు పక్షిరాజుల కన్న వడిగలవారు పర్వతములమీద వారు మమ్మును తరుముదురు అరణ్యమందు మాకొరకు పొంచియుందురు.

19. Our persecutors are swifter than the eagles of the heavens; they pursued us upon the mountains, they lay in wait for us in the wilderness.

20. మాకు నాసికారంధ్రముల ఊపిరివంటివాడు యెహోవాచేత అభిషేకము నొందినవాడు వారు త్రవ్విన గుంటలలో పట్టబడెను.

20. The breath of our nostrils, the anointed of the LORD, was taken in their pits, of whom we said, "Under his shadow we shall live among the heathen."

21. అతని నీడక్రిందను అన్యజనుల మధ్యను బ్రదికెదమని మేమనుకొన్నవాడు పట్టబడెను. ఊజు దేశములో నివసించు ఎదోము కుమారీ, సంతోషించుము ఉత్సహించుము ఈ గిన్నెలోనిది త్రాగుట నీ పాలవును నీవు దానిలోనిది త్రాగి మత్తిల్లి నిన్ను దిగంబరినిగా చేసికొందువు

21. Rejoice and be glad, O daughter of Edom, that dwellest in the land of Uz. The cup also shall pass through unto thee; thou shalt be drunken and shalt make thyself naked.

22. సీయోను కుమారీ, నీ దోషశిక్ష సమాప్తమాయెను ఇకమీదట ఆయన మరెన్నడును నిన్ను చెరలోనికి కొనిపోడు ఎదోము కుమారీ, నీ దోషమునకు ఆయన శిక్ష విధిం చును నీ పాపములను ఆయన వెల్లడిపరచును.

22. The punishment of thine iniquity is accomplished, O daughter of Zion; He will no more carry thee away into captivity. He will visit thine iniquity, O daughter of Edom; He will uncover thy sins.

1. నేను ఆయన ఆగ్రహదండముచేత బాధ ననుభవించిన నరుడను.

1. I am the man that hath seen affliction by the rod of His wrath.

2. ఆయన కటిక చీకటిలోనికి దారి తీసి దానిలో నన్ను నడిపించుచున్నాడు.

2. He hath led me, and brought me into darkness, but not into light.

3. మాటి మాటికి దినమెల్ల ఆయన నన్ను దెబ్బలు కొట్టుచున్నాడు

3. Surely against me is He turned; He turneth His hand against me all the day.

4. ఆయన నా మాంసమును నా చర్మమును క్షీణింప జేయుచున్నాడు. నా యెముకలను విరుగగొట్టుచున్నాడు

4. My flesh and my skin hath He made old; He hath broken my bones.

5. నాకు అడ్డముగా కంచె వేసియున్నాడు విషమును మాచిపత్రిని నా చుట్టు మొలిపించి యున్నాడు

5. He hath builded against me, and compassed me with gall and travail.

6. పూర్వకాలమున చనిపోయినవారు నివసించునట్లు ఆయన చీకటిగల స్థలములలో నన్ను నివసింపజేసి యున్నాడు

6. He hath set me in dark places, as they that are dead of old.

7. ఆయన నా చుట్టు కంచె వేసియున్నాడు నేను బయలు వెళ్లకుండునట్లు బరువైన సంకెళ్లు నాకు వేసియున్నాడు

7. He hath hedged me about, that I cannot get out; He hath made my chain heavy.

8. నేను బతిమాలి మొరలిడినను నా ప్రార్థన వినబడకుండ తన చెవి మూసికొని యున్నాడు.

8. Also when I cry and shout, He shutteth out my prayer.

9. ఆయన నా మార్గములకు అడ్డముగా చెక్కుడురాళ్లు కట్టియున్నాడు నేను పోజాలకుండ నా త్రోవలను కట్టివేసి యున్నాడు

9. He hath enclosed my ways with hewn stone; He hath made my paths crooked.

10. నా ప్రాణమునకు ఆయన పొంచియున్న ఎలుగుబంటి వలె ఉన్నాడు చాటైన చోటులలోనుండు సింహమువలె ఉన్నాడు

10. He was unto me as a bear lying in wait, and as a lion in secret places.

11. నాకు త్రోవలేకుండచేసి నా యవయవములను విడదీసి యున్నాడు నాకు దిక్కు లేకుండ చేసియున్నాడు

11. He hath turned aside my ways, and pulled me in pieces; He hath made me desolate.

12. విల్లు ఎక్కుపెట్టి బాణమునకు గురిగా ఆయన నన్ను నిలువబెట్టియున్నాడు

12. He hath bent His bow, and set me as a mark for the arrow.

13. తన అంబులపొదిలోని బాణములన్నియు ఆయన నా ఆంత్రములగుండ దూసిపోజేసెను.

13. He hath caused the arrows of His quiver to enter into my reins.

14. నావారికందరికి నేను అపహాస్యాస్పదముగా ఉన్నాను దినమెల్ల వారు పాడునట్టి పాటలకు నేను ఆస్పదుడ నైతిని.

14. I was a derision to all my people, and their song all the day.

15. చేదువస్తువులు ఆయన నాకు తినిపించెను మాచిపత్రి ద్రావకముచేత నన్ను మత్తునిగా చేసెను

15. He hath filled me with bitterness; He hath made me drunken with wormwood.

16. రాళ్లచేత నా పండ్లు ఊడగొట్టెను బుగ్గిలో నన్ను పొర్లించెను.

16. He hath also broken my teeth with gravel stones; He hath covered me with ashes.

17. నెమ్మదికిని నాకును ఆయన బహు దూరము చేసి యున్నాడు మేలు ఎట్టిదో నేను మరచియున్నాను.

17. And Thou hast removed my soul far off from peace; I forgot prosperity.

18. నాకు బలము ఉడిగెను అనుకొంటిని యెహోవాయందు నాకిక ఆశలు లేవనుకొంటిని.

18. And I said, "My strength and my hope are perished from the LORD,"

19. నా శ్రమను నా దురవస్థను నేను త్రాగిన మాచి పత్రిని చేదును జ్ఞాపకము చేసికొనుము.

19. remembering mine affliction and my misery, the wormwood and the gall.

20. ఎడతెగక నా ఆత్మ వాటిని జ్ఞాపకము చేసికొని నాలో క్రుంగియున్నది అది నీకింకను జ్ఞాపకమున్నది గదా.

20. My soul hath them still in remembrance, and is humbled in me.

21. నేను దీని జ్ఞాపకము చేసికొనగా నాకు ఆశ పుట్టుచున్నది.

21. This I recall to my mind; therefore have I hope:

22. యెహోవా కృపగలవాడు ఆయన వాత్సల్యత యెడతెగక నిలుచునది గనుక మనము నిర్మూలము కాకున్నవారము.

22. It is through the LORD'S mercies that we are not consumed, because His compassions fail not.

23. అనుదినము నూతనముగా ఆయనకు వాత్సల్యత పుట్టు చున్నది నీవు ఎంతైన నమ్మదగినవాడవు.

23. They are new every morning; great is Thy faithfulness.

24. యెహోవా నా భాగమని నేననుకొనుచున్నాను ఆయనయందు నేను నమ్మిక యుంచుకొనుచున్నాను.

24. "The LORD is my portion," saith my soul, "Therefore will I hope in Him."

25. తన్ను ఆశ్రయించువారియెడల యెహోవా దయా ళుడు తన్ను వెదకువారియెడల ఆయన దయచూపువాడు.

25. The LORD is good unto them that wait for Him, to the soul that seeketh Him.

26. నరులు ఆశకలిగి యెహోవా అనుగ్రహించు రక్షణ కొరకు ఓపికతో కనిపెట్టుట మంచిది.

26. It is good that a man should both hope and quietly wait for the salvation of the LORD.

27. ¸యవనకాలమున కాడి మోయుట నరునికి మేలు.

27. It is good for a man that he bear the yoke in his youth.

28. అతనిమీద దానిని మోపినవాడు యెహోవాయే. గనుక అతడు ఒంటరిగా కూర్చుండి మౌనముగా ఉండ వలెను.

28. He sitteth alone and keepeth silence, because he hath borne it upon him.

29. నిరీక్షణాధారము కలుగునేమో యని అతడు బూడిదెలో మూతి పెట్టుకొనవలెను.

29. He putteth his mouth in the dust; if so it be, there may be hope.

30. అతడు తన్ను కొట్టువానితట్టు తన చెంపను త్రిప్ప వలెను. అతడు నిందతో నింపబడవలెను

30. He giveth his cheek to him that smiteth him; he is filled full with reproach.

31. ప్రభువు సర్వకాలము విడనాడడు.

31. For the Lord will not cast off for ever.

32. ఆయన బాధపెట్టినను తన కృపాసమృద్ధినిబట్టి జాలి పడును.

32. But though He cause grief, yet will He have compassion according to the multitude of His mercies.

33. హృదయపూర్వకముగా ఆయన నరులకు విచారము నైనను బాధనైనను కలుగజేయడు.

33. For He doth not afflict willingly, nor grieve the children of men.

34. దేశమునందు చెరపట్టబడినవారినందరిని కాళ్లక్రింద త్రొక్కుటయు

34. To crush under His feet all the prisoners of the earth,

35. మహోన్నతుని సన్నిధిని నరులకు న్యాయము తొల గించుటయు

35. to turn aside the right of a man before the face of the Most High,

36. ఒకనితో వ్యాజ్యెమాడి వానిని పాడుచేయుటయు ప్రభువు మెచ్చుకార్యములు కావు.

36. to subvert a man in his cause--the Lord approveth not.

37. ప్రభువు సెలవులేనిది మాట యిచ్చి నెరవేర్చగలవా డెవడు?

37. Who is he that saith and it cometh to pass, when the Lord commandeth it not?

38. మహోన్నతుడైన దేవుని నోటనుండి కీడును మేలును బయలు వెళ్లునుగదా?

38. Out of the mouth of the Most High proceedeth not evil and good?

39. సజీవులేల మూల్గుదురు? నరులు తమ పాపశిక్షనుబట్టి ఏల మూల్గుదురు?

39. Why then doth a living man complain, a man for the punishment of his sins?

40. మన మార్గములను పరిశోధించి తెలిసికొని మనము యెహోవాతట్టు తిరుగుదము.

40. Let us search and try our ways, and turn again to the LORD.

41. ఆకాశమందున్న దేవునితట్టు మన హృదయమును మన చేతులను ఎత్తికొందము.

41. Let us lift up our heart with our hands unto God in the heavens.

42. మేము తిరుగుబాటు చేసినవారము ద్రోహులము నీవు మమ్మును క్షమింపలేదు.

42. We have transgressed and have rebelled; Thou hast not pardoned.

43. కోపము ధరించుకొనినవాడవై నీవు మమ్మును తరుము చున్నావు దయ తలచక మమ్మును చంపుచున్నావు.

43. Thou hast covered Thyself with anger and persecuted us; Thou hast slain, Thou hast not pitied.

44. మా ప్రార్థన నీయొద్ద చేరకుండ నీవు మేఘముచేత నిన్ను కప్పుకొనియున్నావు.

44. Thou hast covered Thyself with a cloud, that our prayer should not pass through.

45. జనముల మధ్య మమ్మును మష్టుగాను చెత్తగాను పెట్టి యున్నావు.

45. Thou hast made us as the offscouring and refuse in the midst of the people.

46. మా శత్రువులందరు మమ్మును చూచి యెగతాళి చేసెదరు.

46. All our enemies have opened their mouths against us.

47. భయమును గుంటయు పాడును నాశనమును మాకు తటస్థించినవి.

47. Fear and a snare have come upon us, desolation and destruction.

48. నా జనులకు కలిగిన నాశనమును నేను చూడగా నా కన్నీరు ఏరులై పారుచున్నది.

48. Mine eye runneth down with rivers of water for the destruction of the daughter of my people.

49. యెహోవా దృష్టియుంచి ఆకాశమునుండి చూచు వరకు

49. Mine eye trickleth down and ceaseth not, without any intermission,

50. నా కన్నీరు ఎడతెగక కారుచుండును.

50. till the LORD look down and behold from heaven.

51. నా పట్టణపు కుమార్తెలనందరిని చూచుచు నేను దుఃఖాక్రాంతుడనైతిని.

51. Mine eye affecteth mine heart because of all the daughters of my city.

52. ఒకడు పక్షిని తరుమునట్లు శత్రువులు నిర్నిమిత్తముగా నన్ను వెనువెంట తరుముదురు.

52. Mine enemies chased me sorely like a bird, without cause.

53. వారు చెరసాలలో నా ప్రాణము తీసివేసిరి నాపైన రాయి యుంచిరి

53. They have cut off my life in the dungeon, and cast a stone upon me.

54. నీళ్లు నా తలమీదుగా పారెను నాశనమైతినని నేననుకొంటిని.

54. Waters flowed over mine head; then I said, "I am cut off!"

55. యెహోవా, అగాధమైన బందీగృహములోనుండి నేను నీ నామమునుబట్టి మొరలిడగా

55. I called upon Thy name, O LORD, out of the low dungeon.

56. నీవు నా శబ్దము ఆలకించితివి సహాయముకొరకు నేను మొఱ్ఱపెట్టగా చెవిని మూసికొనకుము.

56. Thou hast heard my voice: "Hide not Thine ear at my breathing, at my cry."

57. నేను నీకు మొరలిడిన దినమున నీవు నాయొద్దకు వచ్చితివి భయపడకుమి అని నీవు చెప్పితివి.

57. Thou drewest near in the day that I called upon Thee; Thou saidst, "Fear not."

58. ప్రభువా, నీవు నా ప్రాణవిషయమైన వ్యాజ్యెము లను వాదించితివి నా జీవమును విమోచించితివి.

58. O Lord, Thou hast pleaded the causes of my soul; Thou hast redeemed my life.

59. యెహోవా, నాకు కలిగిన అన్యాయము నీవు చూచి యున్నావు నా వ్యాజ్యెము తీర్చుము.

59. O LORD, Thou hast seen my wrong; judge Thou my cause.

60. పగతీర్చుకొనవలెనని వారు నామీద చేయు ఆలోచన లన్నియు నీవెరుగుదువు.

60. Thou hast seen all their vengeance and all their imaginings against me.

61. యెహోవా, వారి దూషణయు వారు నామీద చేయు ఆలోచనలన్నిటిని

61. Thou hast heard their reproach, O LORD, and all their imaginings against me,

62. నామీదికి లేచినవారు పలుకు మాటలును దినమెల్ల వారు నామీద చేయు ఆలోచనయు నీవు వినియున్నావు.

62. the lips of those that rose up against me, and their devices against me all the day.

63. వారు కూర్చుండుటను వారు లేచుటను నీవు కని పెట్టుము నేను వారి పాటలకు ఆస్పదమైతిని.

63. Behold their sitting down and their rising up; I am their music.

64. యెహోవా, వారి చేతిక్రియనుబట్టి నీవు వారికి ప్రతీ కారము చేయుదువు.

64. Render unto them a recompense, O LORD, according to the work of their hands.

65. వారికి హృదయకాఠిన్యము నిత్తువు వారిని శపించుదువు.

65. Give them sorrow of heart, Thy curse unto them.

66. నీవు కోపావేశుడవై వారిని తరిమి యెహోవాయొక్క ఆకాశముక్రింద నుండకుండ వారిని నశింపజేయుదువు.

66. Persecute and destroy them in anger from under the heavens of the LORD.

1. ప్రభువు కోపపడి సీయోను కుమార్తెను మేఘముతో కప్పియున్నాడు ఆయన ఇశ్రాయేలు సౌందర్యమును ఆకాశమునుండి భూమిమీదికి పడవేసెను కోపదినమందు ఆయన తన పాదపీఠమును జ్ఞాపకము చేసికొనకపోయెను.

1. How the Lord hath covered the daughter of Zion with a cloud in His anger, and cast down from heaven unto the earth the beauty of Israel, and remembered not His footstool in the day of His anger!

2. ఒకటియు విడువక ప్రభువు యాకోబు నివాస స్థలములన్నిటిని నాశనముచేసి యున్నాడు మహోగ్రుడై యూదా కుమార్తె కోటలను పడగొట్టి యున్నాడు వాటిని నేలకు కూల్చివేసియున్నాడు ఆ రాజ్యమును దాని యధిపతులను ఆయన అపవిత్ర పరచియున్నాడు.

2. The Lord hath swallowed up all the habitations of Jacob, and hath not pitied; He hath thrown down in His wrath the strongholds of the daughter of Judah. He hath brought them down to the ground; He hath polluted the kingdom and the princes thereof.

3. కోపావేశుడై ఇశ్రాయేలీయులకున్న ప్రతి శృంగ మును ఆయన విరుగగొట్టియున్నాడు శత్రువులుండగా తన కుడి చెయ్యి ఆయన వెనుకకు తీసియున్నాడు నఖముఖాల దహించు అగ్నిజ్వాలలు కాల్చునట్లు ఆయన యాకోబును కాల్చివేసి యున్నాడు.

3. He hath cut off in His fierce anger all the horn of Israel. He hath drawn back His right hand from before the enemy, and He burned against Jacob like a flaming fire, which devoureth round about.

4. శత్రువువలె ఆయన విల్లెక్కు పెట్టి విరోధివలె కుడి చెయ్యి చాపియున్నాడు కంటికి అందమైన వస్తువులన్నిటిని నాశనముచేసి యున్నాడు అగ్ని కురియునట్లుగా ఆయన తన ఉగ్రతను సీయోను కుమార్తె గుడారములమీద కుమ్మరించి యున్నాడు.

4. He hath bent His bow like an enemy; He stood with His right hand as an adversary, and slew all that were pleasant to the eye in the tabernacle of the daughter of Zion; He poured out His fury like fire.

5. ప్రభువు శత్రువాయెను ఆయన ఇశ్రాయేలును నిర్మూలము చేసియున్నాడు దాని నగరులన్నిటిని నాశనముచేసియున్నాడు దాని కోటలను పాడుచేసియున్నాడు యూదా కుమారికి అధిక దుఃఖప్రలాపములను ఆయన కలుగజేసియున్నాడు.

5. The Lord was as an enemy; He hath swallowed up Israel, He hath swallowed up all her palaces. He hath destroyed his strongholds, and hath increased in the daughter of Judah mourning and lamentation.

6. ఒకడు తోటను కొట్టివేయునట్లు తన ఆవరణమును ఆయన క్రూరముగా కొట్టివేసి యున్నాడు తన సమాజస్థలమును నాశనము చేసియున్నాడు యెహోవా సీయోనులో నియామక కాలము విశ్రాంతిదినము మరువబడునట్లు చేసియున్నాడు కోపావేశుడై రాజును యాజకుని త్రోసివేసి యున్నాడు.

6. And He hath violently taken away His tabernacle, as if it were of a garden; He hath destroyed His places of the assembly. The LORD hath caused the solemn feasts and Sabbaths to be forgotten in Zion, and hath despised in the indignation of His anger the king and the priest.

7. ప్రభువు తన బలిపీఠము విడనాడెను తన పరిశుద్ధస్థలమునందు అసహ్యించుకొనెను దాని నగరుల ప్రాకారములను శత్రువులచేతికి అప్ప గించెను వారు నియామక కాలమున జనులు చేయునట్లు యెహోవా మందిరమందు ఉత్సాహధ్వని చేసిరి.

7. The Lord hath cast off His altar; He hath abhorred His sanctuary. He hath given up into the hand of the enemy the walls of her palaces; they have made a noise in the house of the LORD, as in the day of a solemn feast.

8. సీయోను కుమారియొక్క ప్రాకారములను పాడు చేయుటకు యెహోవా ఉద్దేశించెను నాశనముచేయుటకు తన చెయ్యి వెనుకతీయక ఆయన కొలనూలు సాగలాగెను. ప్రహరియు ప్రాకారమును దీనిగూర్చి మూల్గు చున్నవి అవి యేకరీతిగా క్షీణించుచున్నవి.

8. The LORD hath purposed to destroy the wall of the daughter of Zion; He hath stretched out a line, He hath not withdrawn His hand from destroying. Therefore He made the rampart and the wall to lament; they languished together.

9. పట్టణపు గవునులు భూమిలోనికి క్రుంగిపోయెను దాని అడ్డగడియలను ఆయన తుత్తునియలుగా కొట్టి పాడు చేసెను దాని రాజును అధికారులును అన్యజనులలోనికి పోయి యున్నారు అచ్చట వారికి ధర్మశాస్త్రము లేకపోయెను యెహోవా ప్రత్యక్షత దాని ప్రవక్తలకు కలుగుట లేదు.

9. Her gates are sunk into the ground; He hath destroyed and broken her bars. Her king and her princes are among the Gentiles; the law is no more; her prophets also find no vision from the LORD.

10. సీయోను కుమారి పెద్దలు మౌనులై నేల కూర్చుందురు తలలమీద బుగ్గి పోసికొందురు గోనెపట్ట కట్టు కొందురు యెరూషలేము కన్యకలు నేలమట్టుకు తలవంచు కొందురు.

10. The elders of the daughter of Zion sit upon the ground and keep silence; they have cast up dust upon their heads. They have girded themselves with sackcloth; the virgins of Jerusalem hang down their heads to the ground.

11. నా జనుల కుమారికి కలిగిన నాశనము చూడగా నా కన్నులు కన్నీటిచేత క్షీణించుచున్నవి నా యంతరంగము క్షోభిల్లుచున్నది నా కాలేజము నేలమీద ఒలుకుచున్నది. శిశువులును చంటిబిడ్డలును పట్టణపు వీధులలో మూర్ఛిల్లెదరు.

11. Mine eyes do fail with tears, my soul is troubled; my passion is poured upon the earth, because of the destruction of the daughter of my people, because the children and the sucklings swoon in the streets of the city.

12. They say to their mothers, "Where is corn and wine?" when they swooned as the wounded in the streets of the city, when their soul was poured out into their mothers' bosom.

13. యెరూషలేము కుమారీ, ఎట్టిమాటలచేత నిన్ను హెచ్చ రించుదును? దేనితో నిన్ను సాటిచేయుదును? సీయోను కుమారీ, కన్యకా, నిన్ను ఓదార్చుటకు దేనితో నిన్ను పోల్చుదును? నీకు కలిగిన నాశనము సముద్రమంత గొప్పది నిన్ను స్వస్థపరచగలవాడెవడు?

13. What thing shall I take to witness for thee? What thing shall I liken to thee, O daughter of Jerusalem? What shall I equal to thee, that I may comfort thee, O virgin daughter of Zion? For thy breach is great like the sea. Who can heal thee?

14. Thy prophets have seen vain and foolish things for thee; and they have not exposed thine iniquity, to return you from captivity, but have seen for thee false burdens and causes of banishment.

15. All that pass by clap their hands at thee; they hiss and wag their head at the daughter of Jerusalem, saying, "Is this the city that men call `The perfection of beauty, the joy of the whole earth'?"

16. నీ శత్రువులందరు నిన్ను చూచి నోరు తెరచెదరు వారు ఎగతాళిచేసి పండ్లు కొరుకుచు దాని మింగివేసియున్నాము ఇదేగదా మనము కనిపెట్టినదినము అది తటస్థించెను, దాని మనము చూచియున్నాము అని యనుకొనెదరు.

16. All thine enemies have opened their mouth against thee; they hiss and gnash their teeth. They say, "We have swallowed her up. Certainly this is the day that we looked for; we have found, we have seen it."

17. The LORD hath done that which He had devised; He hath fulfilled His word that He had commanded in the days of old. He hath thrown down, and hath not pitied; and He hath caused thine enemy to rejoice over thee; He hath set up the horn of thine adversaries.

18. జనులు హృదయపూర్వకముగా యెహోవాకు మొఱ్ఱ పెట్టుదురు. సీయోను కుమారి ప్రాకారమా, నదీప్రవాహమువలె దివారాత్రము కన్నీరు పారనిమ్ము విరామము కలుగనియ్యకుము నీ కంటిపాపను విశ్రమింపనియ్యకుము.

18. Their heart cried unto the Lord. O wall of the daughter of Zion, let tears run down like a river day and night. Give thyself no rest; let not the apple of thine eye cease.

19. Arise, cry out in the night; in the beginning of the watches pour out thine heart like water before the face of the Lord. Lift up thy hands toward Him for the life of thy young children, that faint for hunger on top of every street.

20. నీవు ఎవనియెడల ఈ ప్రకారము చేసితివో యెహోవా, దృష్టించి చూడుము. తమ గర్భఫలమును తాము ఎత్తికొని ఆడించిన పసి పిల్లలను స్త్రీలు భక్షించుట తగునా? యాజకుడును ప్రవక్తయు ప్రభువుయొక్క పరి శుద్ధాలయమునందు హతులగుట తగువా?

20. Behold, O LORD, and consider to whom Thou hast done this. Shall the women eat their fruit, their children of a span long? Shall the priest and the prophet be slain in the sanctuary of the Lord?

21. ¸యవనుడును వృద్ధుడును వీధులలో నేలను పడి యున్నారు నా కన్యకలును నా ¸యవనులును ఖడ్గముచేత కూలి యున్నారు నీ ఉగ్రతదినమున నీవు వారిని హతము చేసితివి దయ తలచక వారినందరిని వధించితివి.

21. The young and the old lie on the ground in the streets; my virgins and my young men are fallen by the sword. Thou hast slain them in the day of Thine anger; Thou hast killed and not pitied.

22. Thou hast called as in a solemn day my terrors round about, so that in the day of the LORD'S anger none escaped nor remained; those that I have swaddled and brought up hath mine enemy consumed.

1. జనభరితమైన పట్టణము ఎట్లు ఏకాకియై దుఃఖా క్రాంతమాయెను? అది విధవరాలివంటిదాయెను. అన్యజనులలో ఘనతకెక్కినది సంస్థానములలో రాచకుమార్తెయైనది ఎట్లు పన్ను చెల్లించునదైపోయెను?

1. How doth the city sit solitary that was full of people! How she has become as a widow! She that was great among the nations and princess among the provinces, how she has become tributary!

2. రాత్రియందు అది బహుగా ఏడ్చుచున్నది కన్నీరు దాని చెంపలమీద కారుచున్నది దాని విటకాండ్రందరిలో దాని నోదార్చువాడొక డును లేడు దాని చెలికాండ్రందరు దాని మోసపుచ్చిరి వారు దానికి శత్రువులైరి.

2. She weepeth sorely in the night, and her tears are on her cheeks; among all her lovers she hath none to comfort her. All her friends have dealt treacherously with her; they have become her enemies.

3. Judah has gone into captivity because of affliction, and because of great servitude. She dwelleth among the heathen, she findeth no rest; all her persecutors overtook her in her straits.

4. The highways of Zion do mourn, because none come to the solemn feasts; all her gates are desolate. Her priests sigh, her virgins are afflicted, and she is in bitterness.

5. Her adversaries are the master, her enemies prosper; for the LORD hath afflicted her. For the multitude of her transgressions, her children have gone into captivity before the enemy.

6. And from the daughter of Zion, all her beauty is departed; her princes have become like harts that find no pasture, and they have gone without strength before the pursuer.

7. యెరూషలేము పూర్వకాలమున తనకు కలిగిన శ్రేయస్సు నంతటిని జ్ఞాపకము చేసికొనుచున్నది దానికి కలిగిన శ్రమానుభవ కాలమునందు సంచార దినములయందు సహాయము చేయువారెవరును లేక దాని జనము శత్రువుచేతిలో పడినప్పుడు విరోధులు దాని చూచి విశ్రాంతిదినములనుబట్టి దాని నపహాస్యము చేసిరి.

7. Jerusalem remembered in the days of her affliction and of her miseries all her pleasant things that she had in the days of old. When her people fell into the hand of the enemy and none did help her, the adversaries saw her, and mocked at her Sabbaths.

8. యెరూషలేము ఘోరమైన పాపముచేసెను అందుచేతను అది అపవిత్రురాలాయెను దాని ఘనపరచిన వారందరు దాని మానమును చూచి దాని తృణీకరించుదురు. అది నిట్టూర్పు విడుచుచు వెనుకకు తిరుగుచున్నది

8. Jerusalem hath grievously sinned; therefore she has become a wanderer. All that honored her despise her, because they have seen her nakedness; yea, she sigheth, and turneth backward.

9. దాని యపవిత్రత దాని చెంగులమీద నున్నది దాని కడవరి స్థితిని అది జ్ఞాపకము చేసికొనక యుండెను అది ఎంతో వింతగా హీనదశ చెందినది దాని నాదరించువాడొకడును లేకపోయెను. యెహోవా, శత్రువులు అతిశయిల్లుటచేత నాకు కలిగిన శ్రమను దృష్టించుము.

9. Her filthiness is in her skirts; she remembereth not her last end. Therefore she came down wondrously; she had no comforter. "O LORD, behold my affliction, for the enemy hath magnified himself!"

10. దాని మనోహరమైన వస్తువులన్నియు శత్రువుల చేతిలో చిక్కెను నీ సమాజములో ప్రవేశింపకూడదని యెవరినిగూర్చి ఆజ్ఞాపించితివో ఆ జనములవారు దాని పరిశుద్ధస్థలమున ప్రవేశించి యుండుట అది చూచుచునేయున్నది

10. The adversary hath spread out his hand upon all her pleasant things; for she hath seen that the heathen entered into her sanctuary, whom Thou didst command that they should not enter into Thy congregation.

11. దాని కాపురస్థులందరు నిట్టూర్పు విడుచుచు ఆహా రము వెదకుదురు తమ ప్రాణసంరక్షణకొరకు తమ మనోహరమైన వస్తువుల నిచ్చి ఆహారము కొందురు. యెహోవా, నేను నీచుడనైతిని దృష్టించి చూడుము.

11. All her people sigh, they seek bread; they have given their pleasant things for meat to relieve the soul. "See, O LORD, and consider, for I have become vile."

12. త్రోవనునడుచువారలారా, ఈలాగు జరుగుట చూడగా మీకు చింతలేదా? యెహోవా తన ప్రచండకోప దినమున నాకు కలుగజేసిన శ్రమవంటి శ్రమ మరి ఎవరికైనను కలిగినదో లేదో మీరు నిదానించి చూడుడి.

12. "Is it nothing to you, all ye that pass by? Behold and see if there be any sorrow like unto my sorrow, which is done unto me, wherewith the LORD hath afflicted me in the day of His fierce anger.

13. పరమునుండి ఆయన నా యెముకలమీదికి అగ్ని ప్రయోగించి యున్నాడు అది యెడతెగక వాటిని కాల్చుచున్నది నా పాదములను చిక్కు పరచుటకై వలనొగ్గి యున్నాడు నన్ను వెనుకకు త్రిప్పియున్నాడు ఆయన నన్ను పాడుచేసి దినమెల్ల నన్ను సొమ్మసిల్ల జేసియున్నాడు.

13. From above hath He sent fire into my bones, and it prevaileth against them. He hath spread a net for my feet, He hath turned me back; He hath made me desolate and faint all the day.

14. కాడి కట్టినట్లుగా తానే నా యపరాధములను నాకు కట్టియున్నాడు అవి పైన వేయబడినవై నా మెడమీదికెక్కెను నా బలమును ఆయన బలహీనతగా చేసియున్నాడు ప్రభువు శత్రువులచేతికి నన్ను అప్పగించియున్నాడు నేను వారియెదుట లేవలేకపోతిని.

14. The yoke of my transgressions is bound up by His hand; they are wreathed, and come up upon my neck. He hath made my strength to fall; the Lord hath delivered me into their hands, from whom I am not able to rise up.

15. The Lord hath trodden under foot all my mighty men in the midst of me; He hath called an assembly against me to crush my young men; the Lord hath trodden the virgin, the daughter of Judah, as in a wine press.

16. వీటినిబట్టి నేను ఏడ్చుచున్నాను నా కంట నీరు ఒలుకుచున్నది నా ప్రాణము తెప్పరిల్లజేసి నన్ను ఓదార్చవలసిన వారు నాకు దూరస్థులైరి శత్రువులు ప్రబలియున్నారు నా పిల్లలు నాశనమైపోయిరి.

16. For these things I weep; mine eye, mine eye runneth down with water, because the Comforter that should relieve my soul is far from me. My children are desolate, because the enemy prevailed."

17. ఆదరించువాడులేక సీయోను చేతులు చాపుచున్నది యెహోవా యాకోబునకు చుట్టునున్నవారిని విరోధులైయుండ నియమించియున్నాడు యెరూషలేము వారికి హేయమైనదాయెను.

17. Zion spreadeth forth her hands, and there is none to comfort her. The LORD hath commanded concerning Jacob, that his adversaries should be round about him; Jerusalem is as a menstruous woman among them.

18. యెహోవా న్యాయస్థుడు నేను ఆయన ఆజ్ఞకు తిరుగుబాటు చేసితిని సకల జనములారా, చిత్తగించి ఆలకించుడి నా శ్రమ చూడుడి నా కన్యకలును నా ¸యవనులును చెరలోనికిపోయి యున్నారు

18. "The LORD is righteous, for I have rebelled against His commandment. Hear, I pray you, all people, and behold my sorrow; my virgins and my young men are gone into captivity.

19. నా విటకాండ్రను నేను పిలువనంపగా వారు నన్ను మోసపుచ్చిరి నా యాజకులును నా పెద్దలును ప్రాణసంరక్షణకై ఆహారము వెదకపోయి పట్టణములో ప్రాణము విడిచినవారైరి.

19. I called for my lovers, but they deceived me; my priests and mine elders gave up the ghost in the city, while they sought their meat to relieve their souls.

20. యెహోవా, దృష్టించుము నాకు ఇబ్బంది కలిగెను నా అంతరంగము క్షోభిల్లుచున్నది నేను చేసిన గొప్ప ద్రోహమునుబట్టి నా గుండె నాలోపల కొట్టుకొనుచున్నది వీధులలో ఖడ్గము జననష్టము చేయుచున్నది ఇండ్లలో నానా మరణకర వ్యాధులున్నవి.

20. "Behold, O LORD, for I am in distress; my bowels are troubled. Mine heart is turned within me, for I have grievously rebelled. Abroad the sword bereaveth; at home there is as death.

21. నేను నిట్టూర్పు విడుచుట విని నన్నాదరించువా డొకడును లేడాయెను నీవు నాకు ఆపద కలుగజేసితివన్న వార్త నా విరోధులందరు విని సంతోషించుచున్నారు. నీవు చాటించిన దినమును నీవు రప్పించుదువు అప్పుడు వారు నన్ను పోలియుండెదరు.

21. They have heard that I sigh; there is none to comfort me. All mine enemies have heard of my trouble; they are glad that Thou hast done it! Thou wilt bring the day that Thou hast proclaimed, and they shall then be like unto me.

1. Zedekiah was one and twenty years old when he began to reign, and he reigned eleven years in Jerusalem. And his mother's name was Hamutal the daughter of Jeremiah of Libnah.

2. And he did that which was evil in the eyes of the LORD, according to all that Jehoiakim had done.

3. యెహోవా కోపపడి తనయెదుట నుండకుండ వారిని తోలివేయునంతగా ఆ చర్య యెరూషలేములోను యూదాలోను జరిగెను. సిద్కియా బబులోను రాజుమీద తిరుగుబాటుచేయగా

3. For because of the anger of the LORD it came to pass in Jerusalem and Judah, till He had cast them out from His presence, that Zedekiah rebelled against the king of Babylon.

4. అతని యేలుబడియందు తొమ్మిదవ సంవత్సరము పదియవ నెల పదియవ దినమున బబులోనురాజైన నెబుకద్రెజరు తన సైన్యమంతటితో యెరూషలేముమీదికి వచ్చి, దానికి ఎదురుగా దండు దిగి నప్పుడు పట్టణమునకు చుట్టు కోటలు కట్టిరి.

4. And it came to pass in the ninth year of his reign, in the tenth month, on the tenth day of the month, that Nebuchadnezzar king of Babylon came -- he and all his army -- against Jerusalem, and encamped against it and built forts against it round about.

5. ఆలాగు జరుగగా సిద్కియా యేలుబడియందు పదకొండవ సంవ త్సరమువరకు పట్టణము ముట్టడిలో నుంచబడెను.

5. So the city was besieged unto the eleventh year of King Zedekiah.

6. నాల్గవ నెల తొమ్మిదవ దినమున క్షామము పట్టణములో హెచ్చుగా నున్నప్పుడు దేశ ప్రజలకు ఆహారము లేకపోయెను.

6. And in the fourth month, on the ninth day of the month, the famine was sore in the city, so that there was no bread for the people of the land.

7. పట్టణప్రాకారములు పడగొట్టబడగా సైనికులందరు పారి పోయి రాజుతోటకు దాపైన రెండు గోడల మధ్యనున్న ద్వారపు మార్గమున రాత్రియందు పట్టణములోనుండి బయలు వెళ్లిరి; కల్దీయులు పట్టణమును చుట్టుకొని యుండగా సైనికులు యొర్దానునది మార్గముగా తర్లిపోయిరి.

7. Then the city was broken into, and all the men of war fled and went forth out of the city by night by the way of the gate between the two walls, which was by the king's garden (now the Chaldeans were by the city round about), and they went by the way of the plain.

8. కల్దీయుల దండు సిద్కియా రాజును తరిమి యెరికో మైదానములో అతని కలిసికొనగా అతని దండంతయు అతనియొద్దనుండి చెదరిపోయెను.

8. But the army of the Chaldeans pursued after the king, and overtook Zedekiah in the plains of Jericho; and all his army was scattered from him.

9. వారు రాజును పట్టు కొని హమాతు దేశమునందలి రిబ్లాపట్టణమున నున్న బబు లోను రాజునొద్దకు అతని తీసికొనిపోగా అతడు అచ్చటనే సిద్కియా రాజునకు శిక్షవిధించెను.

9. Then they took the king and carried him up unto the king of Babylon to Riblah in the land of Hamath, where he gave judgment upon him.

10. And the king of Babylon slew the sons of Zedekiah before his eyes; he slew also all the princes of Judah in Riblah.

11. Then he put out the eyes of Zedekiah. And the king of Babylon bound him in chains and carried him to Babylon, and put him in prison till the day of his death.

12. Now in the fifth month, on the tenth day of the month, which was the nineteenth year of Nebuchadnezzar king of Babylon, came Nebuzaradan, captain of the guard, who served the king of Babylon, into Jerusalem.

13. అతడు యెహోవా మందిరమును రాజునగరును యెరూషలేములోని గొప్పవారి యిండ్లనన్నిటిని కాల్చి వేసెను.

13. And he burned the house of the LORD, and the king's house; and all the houses of Jerusalem and all the houses of the great men burned he with fire.

14. And all the army of the Chaldeans who were with the captain of the guard broke down all the walls of Jerusalem round about.

15. Then Nebuzaradan, the captain of the guard, carried away captive certain of the poor of the people and the residue of the people who remained in the city, and those who fell away, who fell to the king of Babylon, and the rest of the multitude.

16. అయితే రాజదేహసంరక్షకుల యధిపతియైన నెబూజర దాను ద్రాక్షావనములను చక్కపరచుటకును సేద్యము చేయుటకును కడుబీదలలో కొందరిని ఉండనిచ్చెను.

16. But Nebuzaradan, the captain of the guard, left certain of the poor of the land for vinedressers and for husbandmen.

17. మరియు యెహోవా మందిరములోనుండిన ఇత్తడి స్తంభ ములను మందిరములోనుండిన మట్లను ఇత్తడి సముద్రమును కల్దీయులు తునకలుగా కొట్టి ఆ ఇత్తడి అంతయు బబు లోనునకు గొనిపోయిరి.

17. Also the pillars of brass that were in the house of the LORD, and the bases, and the brazen sea that was in the house of the LORD, the Chaldeans broke, and carried all their brass to Babylon.

18. అదియుగాక వారు బిందెలను కుండలను కత్తెరలను గిన్నెలను గరిటెలను యాజకులు సేవ చేయు ఇత్తడి ఉపకరణములన్నిటిని గొనిపోయిరి.

18. The caldrons also, and the shovels, and the snuffers, and the bowls, and the spoons, and all the vessels of brass wherewith they ministered, took they away.

19. మరియు పళ్లెములను ధూపార్తులను గిన్నెలను పాత్రలను, బంగారు వాటిని బంగారునకును వెండివాటిని వెండికిని చేర్చుకొని రాజదేహసంరక్షకుల యధిపతి గొనిపోయెను.

19. And the basins, and the firepans, and the bowls, and the caldrons, and the candlesticks, and the spoons, and the cups -- that which was of gold in gold and that which was of silver in silver -- took the captain of the guard away.

20. రాజైన సొలొమోను యెహోవా మందిరమునకు చేయించిన రెండు స్తంభములను సముద్రమును మట్లక్రిందనుండిన పండ్రెండు ఇత్తడి వృషభములను గొనిపోయెను. వీటి కన్నిటికున్న ఇత్తడి యెత్తువేయుటకు అసాధ్యము.

20. The two pillars, one sea, and twelve brazen bulls that were under the bases, which King Solomon had made in the house of the LORD -- the brass of all these vessels was beyond weighing.

21. వాటిలో ఒక్కొక్క స్తంభము పదునెనిమిది మూరల యెత్తుగలది, పండ్రెండు మూరల నూలు దాని చుట్టు తిరుగును, దాని దళసరి నాలుగు వ్రేళ్లు; అది గుల్లది.

21. And concerning the pillars, the height of one pillar was eighteen cubits, and a fillet of twelve cubits did compass it, and the thickness thereof was four fingers; it was hollow.

22. దానిమీద ఇత్తడి పైపీట యుండెను; ఒక్క పైపీట అయి దేసి మూరల ఎత్తుగలది, పైపీటకు చుట్టు అల్లిన వల అల్లి కయు దానిమ్మ పండ్లును ఉండెను; అవి యన్నియు ఇత్త డివి. ఈ స్తంభమునకును ఆ స్తంభమునకును ఆలాగుననే దానిమ్మ పండ్లుండెను.

22. And a capital of brass was upon it; and the height of one capital was five cubits, with network and pomegranates upon the capitals round about, all of brass. The second pillar also and the pomegranates were like unto these.

23. ప్రక్కలయందు తొంబదియారు దానిమ్మపండ్లుండెను; చుట్టు ఉండిన వల అల్లికమీద దానిమ్మపండ్లన్నియు నూరు.

23. And there were ninety and six pomegranates on a side; and all the pomegranates upon the network were a hundred round about.

24. మరియు రాజదేహసంరక్ష కుల యధిపతి ప్రధానయాజకుడైన శెరాయాను రెండవ యాజకుడైన జెఫన్యాను ముగ్గురు ద్వారపాలకులను పట్టు కొనెను.

24. And the captain of the guard took Seraiah the chief priest, and Zephaniah the second priest, and the three keepers of the door.

25. He took also out of the city a eunuch who had the charge of the men of war, and seven men from those who were near the king's person who were found in the city, and the principal scribe of the host who mustered the people of the land, and threescore men of the people of the land who were found in the midst of the city.

26. రాజ దేహసంరక్షకుల యధిపతియైన నెబూజరదాను వీరిని పట్టు కొని రిబ్లాలో నుండిన బబులోనురాజు నొద్దకు తీసికొని వచ్చెను.

26. So Nebuzaradan, the captain of the guard, took them and brought them to the king of Babylon at Riblah.

27. బబులోనురాజు హమాతుదేశమందలి రిబ్లాలో వారిని కొట్టించి చంపించి యూదా వారిని తమ దేశములో నుండి చెరగొనిపోయెను.

27. And the king of Babylon smote them and put them to death at Riblah in the land of Hamath. Thus Judah was carried away captive out of his own land.

28. నెబుకద్రెజరు తన యేలుబడి యందు ఏడవ సంవత్సరమున మూడువేల ఇరువది ముగ్గురు యూదులను చెరగొనిపోయెను

28. These are the people whom Nebuchadnezzar carried away captive: in the seventh year, three thousand Jews and three and twenty;

29. నెబుకద్రెజరు ఏలుబడి యందు పదునెనిమిదవ సంవత్సరమున అతడు యెరూష లేమునుండి ఎనిమిదివందల ముప్పది యిద్దరిని చెరగొని పోయెను.

29. in the eighteenth year of Nebuchadnezzar he carried away captive from Jerusalem eight hundred thirty and two persons;

30. నెబుకద్రెజరు ఏలుబడియందు ఇరువది మూడవ సంవత్సరమున రాజ దేహసంరక్షకుల యధిపతియగు నెబూజరదాను యూదులలో ఏడువందల నలుబది యయిదుగురు మనుష్యులను చెరగొనిపోయెను; ఆ మను ష్యుల వెరసి నాలుగువేల ఆరువందలు.

30. in the three and twentieth year of Nebuchadnezzar, Nebuzaradan, the captain of the guard, carried away captive of the Jews seven hundred forty and five persons: all the persons were four thousand and six hundred.

31. యూదారాజైన యెహోయాకీను చెరపట్టబడిన ముప్పది యేడవ సంవత్సరమున పండ్రెండవ నెల యిరువదియైదవ దినమున బబులోనురాజైన ఎవీల్మెరోదకు తన యేలుబడి యందు మొదటి సంవత్సరమున యూదారాజైన యెహో యాకీనునకు దయచూపి, బందీగృహములోనుండి అతని తెప్పించి

31. And it came to pass in the seven and thirtieth year of the captivity of Jehoiachin king of Judah, in the twelfth month, on the five and twentieth day of the month, that Evilmerodach king of Babylon, in the first year of his reign, lifted up the head of Jehoiachin king of Judah and brought him forth out of prison;

32. అతనితో దయగా మాటలాడి అతనితోకూడ బబులోనులోనుండు రాజుల సింహాసనముకంటె ఎత్తయిన సింహాసనము అతనికి నియమించెను.

32. and he spoke kindly unto him, and set his throne above the throne of the kings who were with him in Babylon,

33. and changed his prison garments. And Jehoiachin continually ate bread before him all the days of his life.

1. Thus saith the LORD: "Behold, I will raise up against Babylon, and against them that dwell in the midst of them that rise up against Me, a destroying wind.

2. అన్యదేశస్థులను బబులోనునకు పంపుచున్నాను వారు ఆ దేశమును తూర్పారపట్టి దాని వట్టిదిగా చేయుదురు ఆపద్దినమున వారు నలుదిక్కులనుండి దానిమీదికి వచ్చెదరు.

2. And will send unto Babylon winnowers that shall fan her, and shall empty her land; for in the day of trouble they shall be against her round about.

3. Against him that bendeth let the archer bend his bow, and against him that lifteth himself up in his brigandine; and spare ye not her young men; destroy ye utterly all her host.

4. ¸యవనులను కొట్టక మానకుడి దాని సర్వసైన్యమును బొత్తిగా నిర్మూలము చేయుడి.

4. Thus the slain shall fall in the land of the Chaldeans, and they that are thrust through in her streets.

5. తమ దేవుడును సైన్యములకధిపతియునగు యెహోవా ఇశ్రాయేలువారిని యూదావారిని విసర్జింపలేదు గాని ఇశ్రాయేలు పరిశుద్ధదేవునికి విరోధముగా తాము చేసిన అపరాధముతో వారిదేశము నిండి యున్నది.

5. For Israel hath not been forsaken, nor Judah by his God, by the LORD of hosts, though their land was filled with sin against the Holy One of Israel."

6. మీరు దాని దోషములలో పడి నశింపకుండునట్లు బబులోనులోనుండి పారిపోవుడి మీ ప్రాణములు రక్షించుకొనుడి ఇది యెహోవాకు ప్రతికారకాలము అది చేసిన క్రియలనుబట్టి ఆయన దానికి ప్రతికారము చేయుచున్నాడు.

6. Flee out of the midst of Babylon, and deliver every man his soul; be not cut off in her iniquity, for this is the time of the LORD'S vengeance; He will render unto her a recompense.

7. Babylon hath been a golden cup in the LORD'S hand, that made all the earth drunken; the nations have drunk of her wine; therefore the nations are mad.

8. బబులోను నిమిషమాత్రములోనే కూలి తుత్తునియ లాయెను దానిని చూచి అంగలార్చుడి అది స్వస్థతనొందునేమో దాని నొప్పికొరకు గుగ్గిలము తీసికొని రండి.

8. Babylon is suddenly fallen and destroyed: Howl for her! Take balm for her pain; if so be she may be healed.

9. మనము బబులోనును స్వస్థపరచగోరితివిు అయితే అది స్వస్థత నొందలేదు దాని విడిచి పెట్టుడి. మన మన దేశములకు వెళ్లుదము రండి దాని శిక్ష ఆకాశమంత యెత్తుగా సాగుచున్నది అది మేఘములంత ఉన్నతముగా ఎక్కుచున్నది

9. We woud have healed Babylon, but she is not healed. Forsake her, and let us go every one into his own country, for her judgment reacheth unto heaven and is lifted up even to the skies.

10. యెహోవా మన న్యాయమును రుజువుపరచు చున్నాడు రండి సీయోనులో మన దేవుడైన యెహోవా చేసిన పని మనము వివరించుదము.

10. The LORD hath brought forth our righteousness; come, and let us declare in Zion the work of the LORD our God.

11. బాణములు చికిలిచేయుడి కేడెములు పట్టుకొనుడి బబులోనును నశింపజేయుటకు యెహోవా ఆలోచించు చున్నాడు మాదీయుల రాజుల మనస్సును దానిమీదికి రేపు చున్నాడు. అది యెహోవా చేయు ప్రతిదండన తన మందిరమునుగూర్చి ఆయన చేయు ప్రతిదండన.

11. Make bright the arrows! Gather the shields! The LORD hath raised up the spirit of the kings of the Medes; for His device is against Babylon to destroy it, because it is the vengeance of the LORD, the vengeance of His temple.

12. బబులోను ప్రాకారములమీద పడుటకై ధ్వజము నిలువబెట్టుడి కావలి బలముచేయుడి కావలివారిని పెట్టుడి మాటు లను సిద్ధపరచుడి బబులోను నివాసులనుగూర్చి తాను సెలవిచ్చిన దానిని బట్టి యెహోవా తీర్మానముచేసిన పని తాను జరిగింపబోవుచున్నాడు.

12. Set up the standard upon the walls of Babylon! Make the watch strong! Set up the watchmen! Prepare the ambushes! For the LORD hath both devised and done that which He spoke against the inhabitants of Babylon.

13. విస్తారజలములయొద్ద నివసించుదానా, నిధుల సమృద్ధిగలదానా, నీ అంతము వచ్చినది అన్యాయలాభము నీకిక దొరకదు.

13. O thou that dwellest upon many waters, abundant in treasures, thine end is come, and the measure of thy covetousness.

14. The LORD of hosts hath sworn by Himself, saying, "Surely I will fill thee with men, as with caterpillars, and they shall lift up a shout against thee."

15. నా జీవముతోడని సైన్యముల కధిపతియగు యెహోవా ప్రమాణము చేయుచున్నాడు ఆయన తన బలముచేత భూమిని సృష్టించెను తన జ్ఞానముచేత ప్రపంచమును స్థాపించెను తన ప్రజ్ఞచేత ఆకాశమును విశాలపరచెను.

15. He hath made the earth by His power; He hath established the world by His wisdom, and hath stretched out the heaven by His understanding.

16. ఆయన ఆజ్ఞ ఇయ్యగా జలరాసులు ఆకాశమండల ములో పుట్టును. భూమ్యంతభాగములలోనుండి ఆయన ఆవిరి ఎక్క జేయును వర్షము కలుగునట్లుగా ఆయన మెరుపులు పుట్టించును తన ధనాగారములలోనుండి గాలిని రావించును.

16. When He uttereth His voice there is a multitude of waters in the heavens, and He causeth the vapors to ascend from the ends of the earth. He maketh lightnings with rain, and bringeth forth the wind out of His treasures.

17. తెలివిలేక ప్రతి మనుష్యుడు పశుప్రాయుడు పోతపోయు ప్రతివాడును తాను చేసిన విగ్రహమును బట్టి అవమానమొందును అతడు పోతపోసినది మాయారూపము దానిలో ప్రాణమేమియు లేదు.

17. Every man is brutish by his knowledge; every founder is confounded by the graven image; for his molten image is falsehood, and there is no breath in them.

18. అవి ఆశను చెడగొట్టు మాయాకార్యములు విమర్శకాలమున అవి నశించిపోవును.

18. They are vanity, the work of errors; in the time of their visitation they shall perish.

19. యాకోబునకు స్వాస్థ్యమగువాడు వాటివంటివాడు కాడు ఆయన సమస్తమును నిర్మించువాడు ఇశ్రాయేలు ఆయనకు స్వాస్థ్యముగానున్న గోత్రము సైన్యములకధిపతియగు యెహోవా అని ఆయనకు పేరు.

19. The portion of Jacob is not like them, for He is the former of all things; and Israel is the rod of His inheritance; the LORD of Hosts is His name.

20. నీవు నాకు గండ్రగొడ్డలివంటివాడవు యుద్ధాయుధమువంటివాడవు నీవలన నేను జనములను విరుగగొట్టుచున్నాను నీవలన రాజ్యములను విరుగగొట్టుచున్నాను.

20. "Thou art My battleax and weapons of war; for with thee will I break in pieces the nations, and with thee will I destroy kingdoms.

21. నీవలన గుఱ్ఱములను రౌతులను విరుగగొట్టుచున్నాను. నీవలన రథములను వాటి నెక్కినవారిని విరుగగొట్టు చున్నాను.

21. And with thee will I break in pieces the horse and his rider; and with thee will I break in pieces the chariot and his rider.

22. నీవలన స్త్రీలను పురుషులను విరుగగొట్టుచున్నాను నీవలన ముసలివారిని బాలురను విరుగగొట్టుచున్నాను నీవలన ¸యవనులను కన్యకలను విరుగగొట్టుచున్నాను.

22. With thee also will I break in pieces man and woman; and with thee will I break in pieces old and young; and with thee will I break in pieces the young man and the maid.

23. నీవలన గొఱ్ఱెలకాపరులను వారి గొఱ్ఱెలమందలను విరుగగొట్టుచున్నాను నీవలన దున్నువారిని వారి దుక్కి టెద్దులను విరుగ గొట్టుచున్నాను నీవలన ఏలికలను అధిపతులను విరుగగొట్టుచున్నాను.

23. I will also break in pieces with thee the shepherd and his flock; and with thee will I break in pieces the husbandman and his yoke of oxen; and with thee will I break in pieces captains and rulers.

24. బబులోనును కల్దీయుల దేశనివాసులును మీ కన్నులయెదుట సీయోనులో చేసిన కీడంతటికి నేను వారికి ప్రతికారము చేయుచున్నాను, ఇదే యెహోవా వాక్కు.

24. And I will render unto Babylon and to all the inhabitants of Chaldea all their evil that they have done in Zion in your sight," saith the LORD.

25. సర్వభూమిని నశింపజేయు నాశనపర్వతమా, నేను నీకు విరోధిని ఇదే యెహోవా వాక్కు. నేను నీమీదికి నా చేయి చాపి శిలలపైనుండి నిన్ను క్రిందికి దొరలించుదును చిచ్చుపెట్టిన కొండవలె ఉండజేయుదును.

25. "Behold, I am against thee, O destroying mountain," saith the LORD, who destroyest all the earth; "and I will stretch out Mine hand upon thee, and roll thee down from the rocks, and will make thee a burnt mountain.

26. మూలకుగాని పునాదికిగాని నీలోనుండి యెవరును రాళ్లు తీసికొనరు నీవు చిరకాలము పాడై యుందువు ఇదే యెహోవా వాక్కు.

26. And they shall not take from thee a stone for a corner, nor a stone for foundations; but thou shalt be desolate for ever," saith the LORD.

27. దేశములో ధ్వజములనెత్తుడి జనములలో బాకానాదము చేయుడి దానిమీదికి పోవుటకై జనములను ప్రతిష్ఠించుడి దానిమీద పడుటకై అరారాతు మిన్నీ అష్కనజు అను రాజ్యములను పిలిపించుడి దానిమీదికి జనులను నడిపించుటకై సేనాధిపతిని నియ మించుడి రోమముగల గొంగళిపురుగులంత విస్తారముగా గుఱ్ఱము లను దానిమీదికి రప్పించుడి.

27. Set ye up a standard in the land! Blow the trumpet among the nations! Prepare the nations against her; call together against her the kingdoms of Ararat, Minni, and Ashkenaz. Appoint a captain against her; cause the horses to come up as the rough caterpillars.

28. దానిమీదికిపోవుటకై మాదీయుల రాజులను వారి అధిపతులను వారి యేలికలను అతడు ఏలుచుండు సర్వదేశమును జనులనందరిని ప్రతిష్ఠించుడి

28. Prepare against her the nations with the kings of the Medes, the captains thereof, and all the rulers thereof, and all the land of his dominion.

29. భూమి కంపించుచున్నది నొప్పిచేత అది గిజగిజ లాడు చున్నది ఒక్క నివాసియు లేకుండ బబులోను దేశమును పాడుగా చేయవలెనని బబులోనునుగూర్చిన యెహోవా ఉద్దేశము స్థిర మాయెను.

29. And the land shall tremble and sorrow; for every purpose of the LORD shall be performed against Babylon, to make the land of Babylon a desolation, without an inhabitant.

30. బబులోను పరాక్రమవంతులు యుద్ధముచేయక మాను దురు వారు తమ కోటలలో నిలుచుచున్నారు వారి పరాక్రమము బలహీనత ఆయెను వారును స్త్రీలవంటివారైరి

30. The mighty men of Babylon have forborne to fight, they have remained in their strongholds; their might hath failed, they have become as women; they have burned her dwelling places, her bars are broken.

31. వారి నివాసస్థలములు కాల్చబడుచున్నవి వారి అడ్డగడియలు విరిగిపోయెను అతని పట్టణమంతయు పట్టబడును కోనేటి దూలము లును జమ్మును అగ్నిచేత కాల్చబడును

31. One courier shall run to meet another, and one messenger to meet another to show the king of Babylon that his city is taken at one shall be satisfied," saith the L"> and that the passages are stopped, and the reeds they have burned with fire, and the men of war are affrighted.

33. ఇశ్రాయేలు దేవుడును సైన్యములకధిపతియునగు యెహోవా ఈలాగు సెలవిచ్చుచున్నాడుబబు లోనుపురము చదరముచేయబడిన కళ్లమువలె ఆయెను ఇంక కొంతసేపటికి దానికి కోతకాలము వచ్చును.

33. For thus saith the LORD of hosts, the God of Israel: "The daughter of Babylon is like a threshing floor; it is time to thresh her; yet a little while and the time of her harvest shall come."

34. బబులోనురాజైన నెబుకద్రెజరు మమ్మును మింగివేసెను మమ్మును నుగ్గుచేసెను, మమ్మును వట్టికుండవలె ఉంచి యున్నాడు భుజంగము మింగునట్లు మమ్మును మింగెను మా శ్రేష్ఠపదార్థములతో తన పొట్ట నింపుకొని మమ్మును పారవేసియున్నాడు.

34. "Nebuchadnezzar the king of Babylon hath devoured me; he hath crushed me, he hath made me an empty vessel. He hath swallowed me up like a dragon; he hath filled his belly with my delicacies, he hath cast me out.

35. నాకును నా దేహమునకును చేయబడిన హింస బబులోనుమీదికి ప్రతికారరూపముగా దిగును గాక యని సీయోను నివాసి యనుకొనును నా ఉసురు కల్దీయదేశ నివాసులకు తగులునుగాక అని యెరూషలేము అనుకొనును.

35. The violence done to me and to my flesh be upon Babylon," shall the inhabitant of Zion say; "and my blood upon the inhabitants of Chaldea!" shall Jerusalem say.

36. యెహోవా ఈలాగు సెలవిచ్చుచున్నాడుఆల కించుము, నీ వ్యాజ్యెమును నేను జరిగించుదును నీ నిమిత్తము నేనే పగతీర్చుకొందును దాని సముద్రమును నేనెండకట్టుదును దాని ఊటను ఇంకిపోజేయుదును.

36. Therefore thus saith the LORD: "Behold, I will plead thy cause, and take vengeance for thee; and I will dry up her sea, and make her springs dry.

37. బబులోను నిర్జనమై కసువు దిబ్బలుగా ఉండును నక్కలకు నివాసస్థలమగును అది పాడై యెగతాళికి కారణముగా ఉండును.

37. And Babylon shall become heaps, a dwelling place for dragons, an astonishment and a hissing, without an inhabitant.

38. వారు కూడి సింహములవలె బొబ్బరింతురు సింహముల పిల్లలవలె గుఱ్ఱుపెట్టుదురు.

38. They shall roar together like lions; they shall yell as lions' whelps.

39. వారు సంతోషించి మేలుకొనక చిరకాల నిద్ర నొందునట్లు వారు దప్పిగొనగా వారికి మద్యము నిచ్చి వారిని మత్తిల్లజేసెదను ఇదే యెహోవా వాక్కు.

39. In their heat I will make their feasts, and I will make them drunken, that they may rejoice, and sleep a perpetual sleep and not wake," saith the LORD.

40. గొఱ్ఱపిల్లలు వధకు పోవునట్లును మేకపోతులును పాట్ఠేళ్లును వధకు పోవునట్లును వారిని వధకు రప్పించెదను.

40. "I will bring them down like lambs to the slaughter, like rams with hegoats.

41. షేషకు పట్టబడెను జగత్‌ ప్రసిద్ధమైన పట్టణము పట్టబడెను బబులోను జనములకు విస్మయాస్పదమాయెను.

41. "How Sheshach is taken! And how the praise of the whole earth is surprised! How Babylon has become an astonishment among the nations!

42. సముద్రము బబులోనుమీదికి వచ్చెను ఆమె దాని తరంగములధ్వనితో నిండుకొనెను.

42. The sea has come up upon Babylon; she is covered with the multitude of the waves thereof.

43. దాని పట్టణములు పాడుగాను ఎండిన భూమిగాను అరణ్యముగాను నిర్మానుష్యమైన భూమిగాను ఉండెను ఏ నరుడును దానిమీదుగా ప్రయాణము చేయడు.

43. Her cities are a desolation, a dry land and a wilderness, a land wherein no man dwelleth, neither doth any son of man pass thereby.

44. బబులోనులోనే బేలును శిక్షించుచున్నాను వాడు మింగినదానిని వానినోటనుండి కక్కించు చున్నాను ఇకమీదట జనములు వానియొద్దకు సమూహములుగా కూడి రావు బబులోను ప్రాకారము కూలును;

44. And I will punish Bel in Babylon, and I will bring forth out of his mouth that which he hath swallowed up; and the nations shall not flow together any more unto him. Yea, the wall of Babylon shall fall.

45. "My people, go ye out of the midst of her, and deliver ye every man his soul from the fierce anger of the LORD.

46. ఏటేట వదంతి పుట్టుచువచ్చును దేశములో బలాత్కారము జరుగుచున్నది ఏలికమీద ఏలిక లేచుచున్నాడు దేశములో వినబడు వదంతికి భయపడకుడి మీ హృదయములలో దిగులు పుట్టనియ్యకుడి.

46. And lest your heart faint and ye fear for the rumor that shall be heard in the land--a rumor shall both come one year, and after that in another year shall come a rumor and violence in the land, ruler against ruler"

47. రాబోవు దినములలో నేను బబులోనుయొక్క చెక్కిన విగ్రహములను శిక్షింతును దాని దేశమంతయు అవమానము నొందును జనులు హతులై దాని మధ్యను కూలెదరు

47. therefore, behold, the days come, that I will do judgment upon the graven images of Babylon; and her whole land shall be confounded, and all her slain shall fall in the midst of her.

48. దానిని పాడుచేయువారు ఉత్తరదిక్కునుండి దాని యొద్దకు వచ్చుచున్నారని ఆకాశమును భూమియు వాటిలోని సమస్తమును బబులోను గతినిగూర్చి సంతోషించును ఇదే యెహోవా వాక్కు

48. Then the heaven and the earth, and all that is therein, shall sing for Babylon, for the despoilers shall come unto her from the north," saith the LORD.

49. As Babylon hath caused the slain of Israel to fall, so at Babylon shall fall the slain of all the earth.

50. ఖడ్గమును తప్పించుకొనినవారలారా, ఆలస్యముచేయక వెళ్లుడి, దూరమునుండి మీరు యెహోవాను జ్ఞాపకముచేసికొనుడి యెరూషలేము మీ జ్ఞాపకమునకు రానియ్యుడి.

50. Ye that have escaped the sword, go away; stand not still. Remember the LORD afar off, and let Jerusalem come into your mind.

51. మేము దూషణవాక్యము విని సిగ్గుపడియున్నాము అన్యులు యెహోవా మందిరపు పరిశుద్ధస్థలములలోనికి వచ్చియున్నారు మా ముఖములు తెల్లబోవుచున్నవి

51. We are confounded because we have heard reproach; shame hath covered our faces, for strangers are come into the sanctuaries of the LORD'S house.

52. ఇదే యెహోవా వాక్కు. రాబోవు దినములలో నేను బబులోనుయొక్క విగ్రహములను శిక్షింతును ఆమె దేశమందంతటను గాయపరచబడినవారు మూల్గు దురు.

52. "Therefore behold, the days come," saith the LORD, "that I will do judgment upon her graven images; and through all her land the wounded shall groan.

53. బబులోను తన బలమైన ఉన్నతస్థలములను దుర్గములుగా చేసికొని ఆకాశమునకు ఎక్కినను పాడుచేయువారు నాయొద్దనుండి వచ్చి దానిమీద పడుదురు ఇదే యెహోవా వాక్కు.

53. Though Babylon should mount up to heaven, and though she should fortify the height of her strength, yet from Me shall despoilers come unto her," saith the LORD.

54. ఆలకించుడి, బబులోనులోనుండి రోదనధ్వని వినబడు చున్నది కల్దీయులదేశములో మహా నాశనధ్వని వినబడుచున్నది.

54. A sound of a cry cometh from Babylon, and great destruction from the land of the Chaldeans,

55. యెహోవా బబులోనును పాడుచేయుచున్నాడు దాని మహాఘోషను అణచివేయుచున్నాడు వారి తరంగములు ప్రవాహజలములవలె ఘోషించు చున్నవి వారి ఆర్భాటము వినబడుచున్నది.

55. because the LORD hath despoiled Babylon, and destroyed out of her the great voice. When her waves do roar like great waters, a noise of their voice is uttered,

56. బబులోనుమీదికి పాడుచేయువాడు వచ్చుచున్నాడు దాని బలాఢ్యులు పట్టబడియున్నారు వారి విండ్లు విరిగిపోయినవి యెహోవా ప్రతికారము చేయు దేవుడు గనుక నిశ్చయముగా ఆయన క్రియకు ప్రతిక్రియ చేయును.

56. because the despoiler is come upon her, even upon Babylon, and her mighty men are taken; every one of their bows is broken. For the LORD God of recompenses shall surely requite.

57. దాని అధిపతులను జ్ఞానులను అధికారులను సంస్థానాధి పతులను బలాఢ్యులను మత్తిల్లజేసెదను వారు చిరకాల నిద్రనొంది మేలుకొనకపోదురు ఇదే రాజు వాక్కు సైన్యములకధిపతియగు యెహోవా అని ఆయనకు పేరు.

57. "And I will make drunk her princes and her wise men, her captains and her rulers and her mighty men; and they shall sleep a perpetual sleep and not wake," saith the King, whose name is the LORD of Hosts.

58. సైన్యములకధిపతియగు యెహోవా ఈ మాట సెల విచ్చుచున్నాడు విశాలమైన బబులోను ప్రాకారములు బొత్తిగా పడ గొట్టబడును దాని ఉన్నతమైన గుమ్మములు అగ్ని చేత కాల్చివేయ బడును జనములు వృథాగా ప్రయాసపడుచున్నారు అగ్నిలో పడుటకై ప్రయాసపడుచున్నారు ప్రజలు చూచి అలయుచున్నారు

58. Thus saith the LORD of hosts: "The broad walls of Babylon shall be utterly broken, and her high gates shall be burned with fire; and the people shall labor in vain, and the folk in the fire; and they shall be weary."

59. సిద్కియా యేలుబడియందు నాలుగవ సంవత్సరమున శెరాయా దండు భోజనసామగ్రికి అధికారియైయుండి సిద్కియాతోకూడ బబులోనునకు వెళ్లినప్పుడు నేరీయా కుమారుడును మహసేయా మనుమడునైన ఆ శెరాయాకు యిర్మీయా ఆజ్ఞాపించిన మాట.

59. The word which Jeremiah the prophet commanded Seraiah the son of Neriah, the son of Mahseiah, when he went with Zedekiah the king of Judah into Babylon in the fourth year of his reign. And this Seraiah was a quiet prince.

60. యిర్మీయా బబులోను మీదికి వచ్చు అపాయములన్నిటిని, అనగా బబులోనును గూర్చి వ్రాయబడిన యీ మాటలన్నిటిని గ్రంథములొ వ్రాసెను.

60. So Jeremiah wrote in a book all the evil that should come upon Babylon, even all these words that are written against Babylon.

61. కాగా యిర్మీయా శెరాయాతో ఇట్లనెను నీవు బబులోనునకు వచ్చినప్పుడు ఈ మాటలన్నిటిని చదివి వినిపించవలెను.

61. And Jeremiah said to Seraiah, "When thou comest to Babylon and shalt see, and shalt read all these words,

62. ఈలాగున నీవు ప్రకటింపవలెనుయెహోవా, మనుష్యులైనను జంతువులైనను మరి ఏదైనను ఈ స్థలమందు నివసింపక పోవుదురనియు, అది నిత్యము పాడుగా నుండుననియు దానినిగూర్చి నీవు సెలవిచ్చి తివి.

62. then shalt thou say, `O LORD, Thou hast spoken against this place to cut it off, that none shall remain in it, neither man nor beast, but that it shall be desolate for ever.'

63. ఈ గ్రంథమును చదివి చాలించినతరువాత నీవు దానికి రాయికట్టి యూఫ్రటీసునదిలో దాని వేసి

63. And it shall be, when thou hast made an end of reading this book, that thou shalt bind a stone to it and cast it into the midst of the Euphrates.

1. The word that the LORD spoke against Babylon and against the land of the Chaldeans by Jeremiah the prophet:

2. జనములలో ప్రకటించుడి సమాచారము తెలియ జేయుడి ధ్వజమునెత్తి మరుగుచేయక చాటించుడి బబులోను పట్టబడును బేలు అవమానము నొందును మెరోదకు నేల పడవేయబడును బబులోను విగ్రహములు అవమానము నొందును దాని బొమ్మలు బోర్లద్రోయబడును

2. "Declare ye among the nations, and proclaim and set up a standard; proclaim and conceal not. Say, `Babylon is taken, Bel is confounded, Merodach is broken in pieces! Her idols are confounded, her images are broken in pieces!'

3. ఉత్తరదిక్కునుండి దానిమీదికి ఒక జనము వచ్చు చున్నది ఏ నివాసియు లేకుండ అది దాని దేశమును పాడు చేయును మనుష్యులేమి పశువులేమి అందరును పారిపోవుదురు అందరును తర్లిపోవుదురు.

3. For out of the north there cometh up a nation against her, which shall make her land desolate, and none shall dwell therein; they shall be removed, they shall depart, both man and beast.

4. ఆ కాలమున ఆనాటికి ఇశ్రాయేలువారును యూదా వారును కూడి వచ్చెదరు ఏడ్చుచు సాగుచు తమ దేవుడైన యెహోవాయొద్ద విచారించుటకై వచ్చెదరు

4. "In those days and in that time," saith the LORD, "the children of Israel shall come, they and the children of Judah together, going and weeping; they shall go, and seek the LORD their God.

5. ఎన్నటికిని మరువబడని నిత్యనిబంధన చేసికొని యెహోవాను కలిసికొందము రండని చెప్పుకొనుచు సీయోనుతట్టు అభిముఖులై ఆచ్చటికి వెళ్లు మార్గము ఏదని అడుగుచు వచ్చెదరు ఇదే యెహోవా వాక్కు.

5. They shall ask the way to Zion with their faces turned thitherward, saying, `Come, and let us join ourselves to the LORD in a perpetual covenant that shall not be forgotten.'

6. నా ప్రజలు త్రోవతప్పిన గొఱ్ఱెలుగా ఉన్నారు వారి కాపరులు కొండలమీదికి వారిని తోలుకొని పోయి వారిని త్రోవ తప్పించిరి జనులు కొండకొండకు వెళ్లుచు తాము దిగవలసిన చోటు మరచిపోయిరి.

6. My people hath been lost sheep; their shepherds have caused them to go astray. They have turned them away on the mountains; they have gone from mountain to hill; they have forgotten their resting place.

7. కనుగొనినవారందరు వారిని భక్షించుచు వచ్చిరి వారి శత్రువులుమేము అపరాధులము కాము వీరు న్యాయమునకు నివాసమును తమ పితరులకు నిరీక్షణాధారమునగు యెహోవామీద తిరుగుబాటు చేసినందున ఇది వారికి సంభవించెనని చెప్పుదురు.

7. All who found them have devoured them; and their adversaries said, `We offend not, because they have sinned against the LORD, the habitation of justice, even the LORD, the hope of their fathers.'

8. బబులోనులోనుండి పారిపోవుడి కల్దీయులదేశములోనుండి బయలువెళ్లుడి మందలకు ముందు మేకపోతులు నడుచునట్లు ముందర నడువుడి.

8. "Depart out of the midst of Babylon, and go forth out of the land of the Chaldeans, and be as the hegoats before the flocks.

9. ఉత్తరదేశమునుండి మహాజనముల సమూహమును నేను రేపుచున్నాను బబులోనునకు విరోధముగా దానిని రప్పించుచున్నాను ఆ జనులు దానిమీదికి యుద్ధపంక్తులు తీర్చుచున్నారు వారి మధ్యనుండియే ఆమె పట్టబడును ప్రజ్ఞగల బలాఢ్యులు దోపుడుసొమ్ము పట్టుకొనక మరలని రీతిగా వారి బాణములు అమోఘములై తిరిగి రాకుండును.

9. For lo, I will raise and cause to come up against Babylon an assembly of great nations from the north country, and they shall set themselves in array against her. From thence she shall be taken. Their arrows shall be as of a mighty destroyer; none shall return in vain.

10. కల్దీయుల దేశము దోపుడుసొమ్మగును దాని దోచుకొను వారందరు సంతుష్టి నొందెదరు ఇదే యెహోవా వాక్కు.

10. And Chaldea shall be a spoil; all that despoil her shall be satisfied," saith the LORD.

11. నా స్వాస్థ్యమును దోచుకొనువారలారా, సంతోషించుచు ఉత్సహించుచు నురిపిడిచేయుచు పెయ్యవలె గంతులువేయుచు బలమైన గుఱ్ఱములవలె మీరు సకిలించుచున్నారే?

11. "Because ye were glad, because ye rejoiced, O ye destroyers of Mine heritage, because ye are grown fat as the heifer at grass, and bellow as bulls,

12. మీ తల్లి బహుగా సిగ్గుపడును మిమ్మును కన్నది తెల్ల బోవును ఇదిగో అది జనములన్నిటిలో అతినీచ జనమగును అది యెడారియు ఎండినభూమియు అడవియు నగును.

12. your mother shall be sore confounded; she that bore you shall be ashamed. Behold, the hindermost of the nations shall be a wilderness, a dry land and a desert.

13. యెహోవా రౌద్రమునుబట్టి అది నిర్జనమగును అది కేవలము పాడైపోవును బబులోను మార్గమున పోవువారందరు ఆశ్చర్యపడి దాని తెగుళ్లన్నియు చూచి--ఆహా నీకీగతి పట్టి నదా? అందురు

13. Because of the wrath of the LORD it shall not be inhabited, but it shall be wholly desolate; every one that goeth by Babylon shall be astonished and hiss at all her plagues.

14. ఆమె యెహోవాకు విరోధముగా పాపముచేసినది. విల్లు త్రొక్కువారలారా, మీరందరు బబులోనునకు విరోధముగా దాని చుట్టు యుద్ధపంక్తులు తీర్చుడి ఎడతెగక దానిమీద బాణములు వేయుడి

14. Put yourselves in array against Babylon round about; all ye that bend the bow, shoot at her, spare no arrows, for she hath sinned against the LORD.

15. చుట్టు కూడి దానిని బట్టి కేకలువేయుడి అది లోబడ నొప్పుకొనుచున్నది దాని బురుజులు పడిపోవుచున్నవి దాని ప్రాకారములు విరుగగొట్టబడుచున్నవి ఇది యెహోవా చేయు ప్రతికారము.దానిమీద పగతీర్చుకొనుడి అది చేసినట్టే దానికి చేయుడి.

15. Shout against her round about; she hath given her hand. Her foundations are fallen, her walls are thrown down; for it is the vengeance of the LORD. Take vengeance upon her; as she hath done, do unto her.

16. బబులోనులో నుండకుండ విత్తువారిని నిర్మూలము చేయుడి కోతకాలమున కొడవలి పట్టుకొనువారిని నిర్మూలము చేయుడి క్రూరమైన ఖడ్గమునకు భయపడి వారందరు తమ ప్రజలయొద్దకు వెళ్లుచున్నారు తమ తమ దేశములకు పారిపోవుచున్నారు.

16. Cut off the sower from Babylon, and him that handleth the sickle in the time of harvest; for fear of the oppressing sword they shall turn every one to his people, and they shall flee every one to his own land.

17. ఇశ్రాయేలువారు చెదిరిపోయిన గొఱ్ఱెలు సింహములు వారిని తొలగగొట్టెను మొదట అష్షూరురాజు వారిని భక్షించెను కడపట బబులోను రాజైన యీ నెబుకద్రెజరు వారి యెముకలను నలుగగొట్టుచున్నాడు.

17. "Israel is a scattered sheep; the lions have driven him away. First the king of Assyria hath devoured him, and last this Nebuchadnezzar king of Babylon hath broken his bones."

18. కావున ఇశ్రాయేలు దేవుడును సైన్యముల కధిపతియు నగు యెహోవా ఈలాగు సెలవిచ్చుచున్నాడు అష్షూరు రాజును నేను దండించినట్లు బబులోనురాజును అతని దేశమును దండించెదను.

18. Therefore thus saith the LORD of hosts, the God of Israel: "Behold, I will punish the king of Babylon and his land, as I have punished the king of Assyria.

19. ఇశ్రాయేలువారిని తమ మేతస్థలమునకు నేను తిరిగి రప్పించెదను వారు కర్మెలుమీదను బాషానుమీదను మేయుదురు ఎఫ్రాయిము కొండలమీదను గిలాదులోను మేయుచు సంతుష్టినొందును.

19. And I will bring Israel again to his habitation; and he shall feed on Carmel and Bashan, and his soul shall be satisfied upon Mount Ephraim and Gilead.

20. ఆ కాలమున ఆ నాటికి ఇశ్రాయేలు దోషమును వెదకినను అది కనబడకుండును. యూదా పాపములు వెదకిను అవి దొరుకవు శేషింపజేసినవారిని నేను క్షమించెదను ఇదే యెహోవా వాక్కు.

20. In those days and in that time," saith the LORD, "the iniquity of Israel shall be sought for, and there shall be none; and the sins of Judah and they shall not be found: for I will pardon them whom I reserve.

21. దండెత్తి మెరాతయీయుల దేశముమీదికి పొమ్ము పెకోదీయుల దేశముమీదికి పొమ్ము వారిని హతముచేయుము వారు శాపగ్రస్తులని ప్రకటించుము నేను మీకిచ్చిన ఆజ్ఞ అంతటినిబట్టి చేయుము.

21. "Go up against the land of Merathaim, even against it and against the inhabitants of Pekod. Waste and utterly destroy after them," saith the LORD, "and do according to all that I have commanded thee.

22. ఆలకించుడి, దేశములో యుద్ధధ్వని వినబడుచున్నది అధిక నాశనధ్వని వినబడుచున్నది

22. A sound of battle is in the land, and of great destruction.

23. సర్వభూమిని కొట్టుచున్న సమ్మెట తెగి బొత్తిగా విరుగ గొట్టబడెను అన్యజనులలో బబులోను బొత్తిగా పాడైపోయెను.

23. How the hammer of the whole earth is cut asunder and broken! How Babylon hath become a desolation among the nations!

24. బబులోనూ, నిన్ను పట్టుకొనుటకై బోను పెట్టి యున్నాను తెలియకయే నీవు పట్టబడియున్నావు యెహోవాతో నీవు యుద్ధముచేయ బూనుకొంటివి నీవు చిక్కుపడి పట్టబడియున్నావు.

24. I have laid a snare for thee, and thou art also taken, O Babylon, and thou wast not aware; thou art found and also caught, because thou hast striven against the LORD.

25. కల్దీయులదేశములో ప్రభువును సైన్యములకధిపతియు నగు యెహోవాకు పనియున్నది యెహోవా తన ఆయుధశాలను తెరచి కోపముతీర్చు తన ఆయుధములను వెలుపలికి తెచ్చు చున్నాడు.
రోమీయులకు 9:22

25. The LORD hath opened His armory and hath brought forth the weapons of His indignation; for this is the work of the Lord GOD of hosts in the land of the Chaldeans.

26. నలుదిక్కులనుండి వచ్చి దానిమీద పడుడి దాని ధాన్యపుకొట్లను విప్పుడి కసవు కుప్పలువేసినట్లు దానిని కుప్పలువేయుడి శేషమేమియు లేకుండ నాశనము చేయుడి

26. Come against her from the utmost border; open her storehouses. Cast her up as heaps and destroy her utterly; let nothing of her be left.

27. దాని యెడ్లన్నిటిని వధించుడి అవి వధకు పోవలెను అయ్యో, వారికి శ్రమ వారి దినము ఆసన్నమాయెను వారి దండనకాలము వచ్చెను.

27. Slay all her bullocks; let them go down to the slaughter. Woe unto them! For their day has come, the time of their visitation.

28. ఆలకించుడి, పారిపోయి బబులోను దేశములోనుండి తప్పించుకొని వచ్చుచున్నవారి శబ్దము వినబడు చున్నది మన దేవుడగు యెహోవా చేయు ప్రతికార సమా చారమును తన ఆలయము విషయమై ఆయన చేయు ప్రతికార సమాచారమును సీయోనులో ప్రకటించుడి. వారు వచ్చుచున్నారు.

28. The voice of them that flee and escape out of the land of Babylon, to declare in Zion the vengeance of the LORD our God, the vengeance of His temple.

29. బబులోనునకు రండని విలుకాండ్రమ పిలువుడి విల్లు త్రొక్కువారలారా, మీరందరు దానిచుట్టు దిగుడి. అది యెహోవామీద గర్వపడినది ఇశ్రాయేలు పరిశుద్ధునిమీద గర్వపడినది దానిలో నొకడును తప్పించుకొనకూడదు దాని క్రియలనుబట్టి దానికి ప్రతికారము చేయుడి అది చేసిన పనియంతటినిబట్టి దానికి ప్రతికారము చేయుడి.

29. "Call together the archers against Babylon. All ye that bend the bow, camp against it round about; let none thereof escape. Recompense her according to her work; according to all that she hath done, do unto her. For she hath been proud against the LORD, against the Holy One of Israel.

30. కావున ఆ దినమున దాని ¸యవనస్థులు దాని వీధులలో కూలుదురు దాని యోధులందరు తుడిచివేయబడుదురు ఇదే యెహోవా వాక్కు.

30. Therefore shall her young men fall in the streets, and all her men of war shall be cut off in that day," saith the LORD.

31. ప్రభువును సైన్యములకధిపతియునగు యెహోవా వాక్కు ఇదే గర్విష్ఠుడా, నేను నీకు విరోధినై యున్నాను నీ దినము వచ్చుచున్నది నేను నిన్ను శిక్షించుకాలము వచ్చుచున్నది

31. "Behold, I am against thee, O thou most proud," saith the Lord GOD of hosts; "for thy day is come, the time that I will visit thee.

32. గర్విష్ఠుడు తొట్రిల్లి కూలును అతని లేవనెత్తువాడెవడును లేకపోవును నేనతని పురములలో అగ్ని రాజబెట్టెదను అది అతని చుట్టుపట్టులన్నిటిని కాల్చివేయును.

32. And the most proud shall stumble and fall, and none shall raise him up; and I will kindle a fire in his cities, and it shall devour all round about him."

33. సైన్యములకధిపతియగు యెహోవా ఈలాగు సెలవిచ్చు చున్నాడు ఒకడును తప్పకుండ ఇశ్రాయేలువారును యూదా వారును బాధింపబడిరి వారిని చెరపెట్టినవారందరు వారిని గట్టిగా పట్టుకొను చున్నారు వారిని పోనిచ్చుటకు సమ్మతింపరు.

33. Thus saith the LORD of hosts: "The children of Israel and the children of Judah were oppressed together, and all that took them captives held them fast; they refused to let them go.

34. వారి విమోచకుడు బలవంతుడు సైన్యములకధిపతియగు యెహోవా అని ఆయనకు పేరు భూమికి విశ్రాంతి కలుగజేయుటకును బబులోను నివాసులను కలవరపరచుటకును ఆయన బాగుగా వాదించి వారి వ్యాజ్యెమును కడ ముట్టించును.

34. Their Redeemer is strong; the LORD of hosts is His name. He shall thoroughly plead their cause, that He may give rest to the land, and disquiet the inhabitants of Babylon.

35. యెహోవా మాట యిదే కల్దీయులును బబులోను నివాసులును దాని అధిపతులును జ్ఞానులును కత్తిపాలగుదురు

35. "A sword is upon the Chaldeans," saith the LORD, "and upon the inhabitants of Babylon, and upon her princes, and upon her wise men!

36. ప్రగల్భములు పలుకువారు ఖడ్గవశులై పిచ్చివాండ్రగు దురు. బలాఢ్యులు నిర్మూలమగువరకు ఖడ్గము వారిమీద పడును

36. A sword is upon the liars, and they shall dote! A sword is upon her mighty men, and they shall be dismayed!

37. ఖడ్గము వారి గుఱ్ఱములమీద పడును వారి రథముల మీద పడును ఖడ్గము వారిమీదికి దిగుటచేత దానిలోనున్న పరదేశులు స్త్రీలవంటివారగుదురు అది దాని నిధులమీద పడగా అవి దోచుకొనబడును.

37. A sword is upon their horses and upon their chariots, and upon all the mingled people that are in the midst of her, and they shall become as women! A sword is upon her treasures, and they shall be robbed!

38. నీళ్లకు ఎద్దడి తగులును అవి ఇంకిపోవును అది చెక్కబడిన విగ్రహములుగల దేశము జనులు భీకరప్రతిమలనుబట్టి పిచ్చిచేష్టలు చేయుదురు.

38. A drought is upon her waters, and they shall be dried up! For it is the land of graven images, and they are mad over their idols.

39. అందుచేతను అడవిపిల్లులును నక్కలును అక్కడ నివ సించును నిప్పుకోళ్లును దానిలో నివాసముచేయును ఇకమీదట అది ఎన్నడును నివాసస్థలము కాకపోవును తరతరములు దానిలో ఎవరును కాపురముండరు.

39. Therefore the wild beasts of the desert with the wild beasts of the islands shall dwell there, and the owls shall dwell therein; and it shall be no more inhabited for ever, neither shall it be dwelt in from generation to generation.

40. యెహోవా వాక్కు ఇదే సొదొమను గొమొఱ్ఱాను వాటి సమీపపట్టణములను దేవుడు నాశనము చేసినప్పుడు జరిగిన రీతిగా ఎవడును అక్కడ కాపురముండకపోవును ఏ నరుడును దానిలో బసచేయడు.

40. As God overthrew Sodom and Gomorrah and the neighbor cities thereof," saith the LORD, "so shall no man abide there, neither shall any son of man dwell therein.

41. జనులు ఉత్తరదిక్కునుండి వచ్చుచున్నారు మహాజనమును అనేక రాజులును భూదిగంతములనుండి రేపబడెదరు.

41. "Behold, a people shall come from the north, and a great nation, and many kings shall be raised up from the borders of the earth.

42. వారు వింటిని ఈటెను పట్టుకొని వచ్చెదరు వారు క్రూరులు జాలిపడనివారు వారి స్వరము సముద్రఘోషవలె ఉన్నది వారు గుఱ్ఱములను ఎక్కువారు బబులోను కుమారీ, ఒకడు యుద్ధపంక్తులు తీర్చు రీతిగా వారందరు నీమీద పంక్తులు తీర్చుచున్నారు.

42. They shall hold the bow and the lance; they are cruel and will not show mercy; their voice shall roar like the sea, and they shall ride upon horses, every one put in array like a man to the battle, against thee, O daughter of Babylon.

43. బబులోనురాజు వారి సమాచారము విని దుర్బలు డాయెను అతనికి బాధ కలిగెను ప్రసవ స్త్రీ వేదనవంటి వేదన అతనికి సంభవించెను.

43. The king of Babylon hath heard the report of them, and his hands waxed feeble; anguish took hold of him, and pangs as of a woman in travail.

44. చిరకాల నివాసమును పట్టుకొనవలెనని శత్రువులు యొర్దాను ప్రవాహములో నుండి సింహము వలె వచ్చుచున్నారు నిమిషములోనే నేను వారిని దానియొద్దనుండి తోలి వేయుదును నేనెవని ఏర్పరతునో వానిని దానిమీద నియమించెదనునన్ను పోలియున్నవాడై నన్ను ఆక్షేపణచేయువాడేడి?నన్ను ఎదిరింపగల కాపరి ఏడి?

44. Behold, he shall come up like a lion from the swelling of the Jordan unto the habitation of the strong; but I will make them suddenly run away from her. And who is a chosen man that I may appoint over her? For who is like Me? And who will appoint Me the time? And who is that shepherd that will stand before Me?"

45. బబులోనునుగూర్చి యెహోవా చేసిన ఆలోచన వినుడి కల్దీయుల దేశమునుగూర్చి ఆయన ఉద్దేశించినది వినుడి నిశ్చయముగా మందలోని అల్పులైనవారిని వారు లాగు దురు నిశ్చయముగా వారినిబట్టి వారి నివాసస్థలము విస్మయ మొందును.

45. Therefore hear ye the counsel of the LORD that He hath taken against Babylon, and His purposes that He hath purposed against the land of the Chaldeans. Surely the least of the flock shall draw them out; surely He shall make their habitation desolate with them.

46. బబులోను పట్టబడుచున్నదను సమాచారము విని భూమి కంపించుచున్నది జనములలో అంగలార్పు వినబడుచున్నది.

46. At the noise of the taking of Babylon the earth is moved, and the cry is heard among the nations.
