John - యోహాను సువార్త 18
1. యేసు ఈ మాటలు చెప్పి తన శిష్యులతోకూడకెద్రోను వాగు దాటి పోయెను. అక్కడ ఒక తోట యుండెను, దానిలోనికి ఆయన తన శిష్యులతోకూడ వెళ్లెను.
1. When Jesus had spoken these words, He went forth with His disciples over the Brook Kidron, where was a garden into which He entered with His disciples.
2. యేసు తన శిష్యులతో పలుమారు అక్కడికి వెళ్లు చుండువాడు గనుక, ఆయనను అప్పగించు యూదాకును ఆ స్థలము తెలిసియుండెను.
2. And Judas also, who betrayed Him, knew the place, for Jesus oftentimes resorted thither with His disciples.
3. కావున యూదా సైనికులను, ప్రధానయాజకులు పరిసయ్యులు పంపిన బంట్రౌతులను వెంటబెట్టుకొని, దివిటీలతోను దీపములతోను ఆయుధముల తోను అక్కడికివచ్చెను.
3. Judas then, having received a band of men and officers from the chief priests and Pharisees, came thither with lanterns and torches and weapons.
4. యేసు తనకు సంభవింపబోవున వన్నియు ఎరిగినవాడై వారియొద్దకు వెళ్లిమీరెవని వెదకుచున్నారని వారిని అడిగెను.
4. Jesus therefore, knowing all things that should come upon Him, went forth and said unto them, "Whom seek ye?"
5. వారునజరేయుడైన యేసునని ఆయనకు ఉత్తరమియ్యగా యేసుఆయనను నేనే అని వారితో చెప్పెను; ఆయనను అప్పగించిన యూదాయు వారియొద్ద నిలుచుండెను.
5. They answered Him, "Jesus of Nazareth." Jesus said unto them, "I am He." And Judas also, who betrayed Him, stood with them.
6. ఆయననేనే ఆయననని వారితో చెప్పగా వారు వెనుకకు తగ్గి నేలమీద పడిరి.
6. As soon then as He had said unto them, "I am He," they went backward and fell to the ground.
7. మరల ఆయనమీరు ఎవనిని వెదకుచున్నారని వారిని అడిగెను. అందుకు వారునజరేయుడైన యేసునని చెప్పగా
7. Then asked He them again, "Whom seek ye?" And they said, "Jesus of Nazareth."
8. యేసు వారితోనేనే ఆయనని మీతో చెప్పితిని గనుక మీరు నన్ను వెదకుచున్నయెడల వీరిని పోనియ్యుడని చెప్పెను.
8. Jesus answered, "I have told you that I am He. If therefore ye seek Me, let these go their way,"
9. నీవు నాకు అనుగ్రహించిన వారిలో ఒకనినైనను నేను పోగొట్టుకొనలేదని ఆయన చెప్పిన మాట నెరవేరునట్లు ఈలాగు చెప్పెను.
9. that the saying might be fulfilled which He spoke, "Of those that Thou gavest Me, have I lost none."
10. సీమోను పేతురునొద్ద కత్తియుండినందున అతడు దానిని దూసి, ప్రధానయాజకుని దాసుని కొట్టి అతని కుడిచెవి తెగ నరికెను.
10. Then Simon Peter, having a sword, drew it and smote the high priest's servant and cut off his right ear. The servant's name was Malchus.
11. ఆ దాసునిపేరు మల్కు. యేసుకత్తి ఒరలో ఉంచుము; తండ్రి నాకు అనుగ్రహించిన గిన్నెలోనిది నేను త్రాగకుందునా అని పేతురుతో అనెను.
11. Then said Jesus unto Peter, "Put up thy sword into the sheath. The cup which My Father hath given Me, shall I not drink it?"
12. అంతట సైనికులును సహస్రాధిపతియు, యూదుల బంట్రౌతులును యేసును పట్టుకొని ఆయనను బంధించి, మొదట అన్నయొద్దకు ఆయనను తీసికొనిపోయిరి.
12. Then the band and the captain and officers of the Jews took Jesus and bound Him,
13. అతడు ఆ సంవత్సరము ప్రధానయాజకుడైన కయపకు మామ.
13. and led Him away to Annas first, for he was the father-in-law of Caiaphas, who was the high priest that same year.
14. కయపఒక మనుష్యుడు ప్రజలకొరకు చనిపోవుట ప్రయోజనకరమని యూదులకు ఆలోచన చెప్పినవాడు.
14. Now it was Caiaphas who gave counsel to the Jews that it was expedient that one man should die for the people.
15. సీమోను పేతురును మరియొక శిష్యుడును యేసు వెంబడి పోవుచుండిరి. ఆ శిష్యుడు ప్రధానయాజకునికి నెళవైనవాడు గనుక అతడు ప్రధానయాజకుని యింటి ముంగిటిలోనికి యేసుతో కూడ వెళ్లెను.
15. And Simon Peter followed Jesus, and so did another disciple. That disciple was known unto the high priest, and went in with Jesus into the palace of the high priest.
16. పేతురు ద్వారము నొద్ద బయట నిలుచుండెను గనుక ప్రధానయాజకునికి నెళవైన ఆ శిష్యుడు బయటికి వచ్చి ద్వారపాలకురాలితో మాటలాడి పేతురును లోపలికి తోడుకొనిపోయెను.
16. But Peter stood at the door outside. Then the other disciple, who was known unto the high priest, went out and spoke unto her who kept the door, and brought in Peter.
17. ద్వారమునొద్ద కావలియున్న యొక చిన్నది పేతురుతో నీవును ఈ మనుష్యుని శిష్యులలో ఒకడవు కావా? అని చెప్పగా అతడుకాననెను.
17. Then the damsel who kept the door said unto Peter, "Art not thou also one of this man's disciples?" He said, "I am not."
18. అప్పుడు చలివేయు చున్నందున దాసులును బంట్రౌతులును మంటవేసి చలికాచుకొనుచు నిలుచుండగా పేతురును వారితో నిలువబడి చలికాచుకొనుచుండెను.
18. And the servants and officers stood there, who had made a fire of coals, for it was cold and they warmed themselves. And Peter stood with them, and warmed himself.
19. ప్రధానయాజకుడు ఆయన శిష్యులనుగూర్చియు ఆయన బోధను గూర్చియు యేసును అడుగగా
19. The high priest then asked Jesus about His disciples and about His doctrine.
20. యేసు నేను బాహాటముగా లోకము ఎదుట మాటలాడితిని; యూదులందరు కూడివచ్చు సమాజమందిరములలోను దేవాలయము లోను ఎల్లప్పుడును బోధించితిని; రహస్యముగా నేనేమియు మాటలాడలేదు.
20. Jesus answered him, "I spoke openly to the world; I ever taught in the synagogue and in the temple whither the Jews always resort, and in secret have I said nothing.
21. నీవు నన్ను అడుగనేల? నేను వారికేమి బోధించినది విన్నవారిని అడుగుము; ఇదిగో నేను చెప్పినది వీరెరుగుదురని అతనితో అనెను.
21. Why askest thou Me? Ask them that heard Me what I have said unto them. Behold, they know what I said."
22. ఆయన ఈ మాటలు చెప్పినప్పుడు దగ్గర నిలిచియున్న బంట్రౌతులలొఒకడుప్రధానయాజకునికి ఈలాగు ఉత్తరమిచ్చు చున్నావా అని చెప్పి యేసును అరచేతులతో కొట్టెను.

22. And when He had thus spoken, one of the officers who stood by struck Jesus with the palm of his hand, saying, "Answerest thou the high priest so?"
23. అందుకు యేసునేను కాని మాట ఆడిన యెడల ఆ కాని మాట ఏదో చెప్పుము; మంచిమాట ఆడిన యెడల నన్నేల కొట్టుచున్నావనెను.
23. Jesus answered him, "If I have spoken evil, bear witness of the evil; but if well, why smitest thou Me?"
24. అంతట అన్న, యేసును బంధింపబడియున్నట్టుగానే ప్రధానయాజకుడైన కయప యొద్దకు పంపెను.
24. Now Annas had sent Him bound unto Caiaphas, the high priest.
25. సీమోను పేతురు నిలువబడి చలి కాచుకొనుచుండగా వారతని చూచినీవును ఆయన శిష్యులలో ఒకడవుకావా? అని చెప్పగా అతడునేను కాను, నేనెరుగననెను.
25. And Simon Peter stood and warmed himself. They said therefore unto him, "Art not thou also one of his disciples?" He denied it and said, "I am not."
26. పేతురు ఎవని చెవి తెగనరికెనో వాని బంధువును ప్రధాన యాజకుని దాసులలో ఒకడునునీవు తోటలో అతనితొ కూడ ఉండగా నేను చూడలేదా? అని చెప్పినందుకు
26. One of the servants of the high priest, being kinsman of him whose ear Peter cut off, said, "Did not I see thee in the garden with him?"
27. పేతురు నేనెరుగనని మరియొకసారి చెప్పెను; వెంటనే కోడి కూసెను.
27. Peter then denied again; and immediately the cock crowed.
28. వారు కయపయొద్దనుండి అధికారమందిరమునకు యేసును తీసికొనిపోయిరి. అప్పుడు ఉదయమాయెను గనుక వారు మైలపడకుండ పస్కాను భుజింపవలెనని అధికారమందిరములోనికి వెళ్లలేదు.
28. Then they led Jesus from Caiaphas unto the hall of judgment. And it was early, and they themselves went not into the judgment hall, lest they should be defiled, but that they might eat the Passover.
29. కావున పిలాతు బయట ఉన్నవారియొద్దకు వచ్చిఈ మనుష్యునిమీద మీరు ఏ నేరము మోపుచున్నారనెను.
29. Pilate then went out unto them and said, "What accusation bring ye against this man?"
30. అందుకు వారువీడు దుర్మార్గుడు కానియెడల వీనిని నీకు అప్పగించియుండ మని అతనితో చెప్పిరి.
30. They answered and said unto him, "If he were not a malefactor, we would not have delivered him up unto thee."
31. పిలాతుమీరతని తీసికొనిపోయి మీ ధర్మశాస్త్రముచొప్పున అతనికి తీర్పుతీర్చుడనగా
31. Then said Pilate unto them, "Take ye him and judge him according to your law." The Jews therefore said unto him, "It is not lawful for us to put any man to death,"
32. యూదులుఎవనికిని మరణశిక్ష విధించుటకు మాకు అధి కారములేదని అతనితో చెప్పిరి. అందువలన యేసు తాను ఎట్టిమరణము పొందబోవునో దానిని సూచించి చెప్పిన మాట నెరవేరెను.
32. that the saying which Jesus had spoken, signifying what death He should die, might be fulfilled.
33. పలాతు తిరిగి అధికారమందిరములో ప్రవేశించి యేసును పిలిపించి యూదుల రాజువు నీవేనా? అని ఆయన నడుగగా
33. Then Pilate entered into the judgment hall again, and called Jesus and said unto Him, "Art thou the King of the Jews?"
34. యేసునీ అంతట నీవే యీ మాట అను చున్నావా? లేక యితరులు నీతో నన్ను గూర్చి చెప్పిరా? అని అడిగెను.
34. Jesus answered him, "Sayest thou this thing of thyself, or did others tell it thee of Me?"
35. అందుకు పిలాతునేను యూదుడనా యేమి? నీ స్వజనమును ప్రధానయాజకులును నిన్ను నాకు అప్పగించిరిగదా; నీవేమి చేసితివని అడుగగా
జెకర్యా 13:6
35. Pilate answered, "Am I a Jew? Thine own nation and the chief priests have delivered thee unto me. What hast thou done?"
36. యేసు నా రాజ్యము ఈ లోకసంబంధమైనది కాదు; నా రాజ్యము ఈ లోకసంబంధమైనదైతే నేను యూదులకు అప్పగింపబడకుండునట్లు నా సేవకులు పోరాడుదురు గాని నా రాజ్యము ఇహసంబంధమైనది కాదనెను.
36. Jesus answered, "My Kingdom is not of this world. If My Kingdom were of this world, then would My servants fight, that I should not be delivered to the Jews. But now is My Kingdom not from hence."
37. అందుకు పిలాతునీవు రాజువా? అని ఆయనను అడుగగా యేసునీవన్నట్టు నేను రాజునే; సత్యమునుగూర్చి సాక్ష్యమిచ్చుటకు నేను పుట్టితిని; ఇందు నిమిత్తమే యీ లోకమునకు వచ్చితిని; సత్యసం
యెషయా 32:1
37. Pilate therefore said unto Him, "Art thou a king then?" Jesus answered, "Thou sayest that I am a king. To this end was I born, and for this cause came I into the world, that I should bear witness unto the truth. Every one that is of the truth heareth My voice."
38. అందుకు పిలాతుసత్యమనగా ఏమిటి? అని ఆయనతో చెప్పెను. అతడు ఈ మాట చెప్పి బయటనున్న యూదుల యొద్దకు తిరిగి వెళ్లి అతనియందు ఏ దోషమును నాకు కనబడలేదు;
38. Pilate said unto Him, "What is truth?" And when he said this, he went out again unto the Jews, and said unto them, "I find in him no fault at all.
39. అయినను పస్కాపండుగలో నేనొకని మీకు విడుదల చేయువాడుక కలదు గదా; నేను యూదుల రాజును విడుదల చేయుట మీకిష్టమా? అని వారినడిగెను.
39. But ye have a custom that I should release unto you one at the Passover. Will ye therefore that I release unto you the King of the Jews?"
40. అయితే వారువీనిని వద్దు, బరబ్బను విడుదలచేయుమని మరల కేకలువేసిరి. ఈ బరబ్బ బందిపోటుదొంగ.
40. Then cried they all again, saying, "Not this man, but Barabbas!" Now Barabbas was a robber.
1. యేసు ఈ మాటలు చెప్పి తన శిష్యులతోకూడకెద్రోను వాగు దాటి పోయెను. అక్కడ ఒక తోట యుండెను, దానిలోనికి ఆయన తన శిష్యులతోకూడ వెళ్లెను.

15. And Simon Peter followed Jesus, and so did another disciple. That disciple was known unto the high priest, and went in with Jesus into the palace of the high priest.
16. పేతురు ద్వారము నొద్ద బయట నిలుచుండెను గనుక ప్రధానయాజకునికి నెళవైన ఆ శిష్యుడు బయటికి వచ్చి ద్వారపాలకురాలితో మాటలాడి పేతురును లోపలికి తోడుకొనిపోయెను.
16. But Peter stood at the door outside. Then the other disciple, who was known unto the high priest, went out and spoke unto her who kept the door, and brought in Peter.
17. ద్వారమునొద్ద కావలియున్న యొక చిన్నది పేతురుతో నీవును ఈ మనుష్యుని శిష్యులలో ఒకడవు కావా? అని చెప్పగా అతడుకాననెను.
17. Then the damsel who kept the door said unto Peter, "Art not thou also one of this man's disciples?" He said, "I am not."
18. అప్పుడు చలివేయు చున్నందున దాసులును బంట్రౌతులును మంటవేసి చలికాచుకొనుచు నిలుచుండగా పేతురును వారితో నిలువబడి చలికాచుకొనుచుండెను.
18. And the servants and officers stood there, who had made a fire of coals, for it was cold and they warmed themselves. And Peter stood with them, and warmed himself.
19. ప్రధానయాజకుడు ఆయన శిష్యులనుగూర్చియు ఆయన బోధను గూర్చియు యేసును అడుగగా
19. The high priest then asked Jesus about His disciples and about His doctrine.
20. యేసు నేను బాహాటముగా లోకము ఎదుట మాటలాడితిని; యూదులందరు కూడివచ్చు సమాజమందిరములలోను దేవాలయము లోను ఎల్లప్పుడును బోధించితిని; రహస్యముగా నేనేమియు మాటలాడలేదు.

26. పేతురు ఎవని చెవి తెగనరికెనో వాని బంధువును ప్రధాన యాజకుని దాసులలో ఒకడునునీవు తోటలో అతనితొ కూడ ఉండగా నేను చూడలేదా? అని చెప్పినందుకు

28. Then they led Jesus from Caiaphas unto the hall of judgment. And it was early, and they themselves went not into the judgment hall, lest they should be defiled, but that they might eat the Passover.

31. Then said Pilate unto them, "Take ye him and judge him according to your law." The Jews therefore said unto him, "It is not lawful for us to put any man to death,"
32. యూదులుఎవనికిని మరణశిక్ష విధించుటకు మాకు అధి కారములేదని అతనితో చెప్పిరి. అందువలన యేసు తాను ఎట్టిమరణము పొందబోవునో దానిని సూచించి చెప్పిన మాట నెరవేరెను.

33. పలాతు తిరిగి అధికారమందిరములో ప్రవేశించి యేసును పిలిపించి యూదుల రాజువు నీవేనా? అని ఆయన నడుగగా
33. Then Pilate entered into the judgment hall again, and called Jesus and said unto Him, "Art thou the King of the Jews?"
34. యేసునీ అంతట నీవే యీ మాట అను చున్నావా? లేక యితరులు నీతో నన్ను గూర్చి చెప్పిరా? అని అడిగెను.
34. Jesus answered him, "Sayest thou this thing of thyself, or did others tell it thee of Me?"
35. అందుకు పిలాతునేను యూదుడనా యేమి? నీ స్వజనమును ప్రధానయాజకులును నిన్ను నాకు అప్పగించిరిగదా; నీవేమి చేసితివని అడుగగా
జెకర్యా 13:6
35. Pilate answered, "Am I a Jew? Thine own nation and the chief priests have delivered thee unto me. What hast thou done?"
36. యేసు నా రాజ్యము ఈ లోకసంబంధమైనది కాదు; నా రాజ్యము ఈ లోకసంబంధమైనదైతే నేను యూదులకు అప్పగింపబడకుండునట్లు నా సేవకులు పోరాడుదురు గాని నా రాజ్యము ఇహసంబంధమైనది కాదనెను.
36. Jesus answered, "My Kingdom is not of this world. If My Kingdom were of this world, then would My servants fight, that I should not be delivered to the Jews. But now is My Kingdom not from hence."
37. అందుకు పిలాతునీవు రాజువా? అని ఆయనను అడుగగా యేసునీవన్నట్టు నేను రాజునే; సత్యమునుగూర్చి సాక్ష్యమిచ్చుటకు నేను పుట్టితిని; ఇందు నిమిత్తమే యీ లోకమునకు వచ్చితిని; సత్యసం
యెషయా 32:1
37. Pilate therefore said unto Him, "Art thou a king then?" Jesus answered, "Thou sayest that I am a king. To this end was I born, and for this cause came I into the world, that I should bear witness unto the truth. Every one that is of the truth heareth My voice."
38. అందుకు పిలాతుసత్యమనగా ఏమిటి? అని ఆయనతో చెప్పెను. అతడు ఈ మాట చెప్పి బయటనున్న యూదుల యొద్దకు తిరిగి వెళ్లి అతనియందు ఏ దోషమును నాకు కనబడలేదు;
38. Pilate said unto Him, "What is truth?" And when he said this, he went out again unto the Jews, and said unto them, "I find in him no fault at all.
39. అయినను పస్కాపండుగలో నేనొకని మీకు విడుదల చేయువాడుక కలదు గదా; నేను యూదుల రాజును విడుదల చేయుట మీకిష్టమా? అని వారినడిగెను.
39. But ye have a custom that I should release unto you one at the Passover. Will ye therefore that I release unto you the King of the Jews?"
40. అయితే వారువీనిని వద్దు, బరబ్బను విడుదలచేయుమని మరల కేకలువేసిరి. ఈ బరబ్బ బందిపోటుదొంగ.
40. Then cried they all again, saying, "Not this man, but Barabbas!" Now Barabbas was a robber.
