1. జ్ఞానవంతురాలు తన యిల్లు కట్టును మూఢురాలు తన చేతులతో తన యిల్లు ఊడ... బెరుకును.
1. Every wise woman buildeth her house, but the foolish plucketh it down with her hands.
2. యథార్థముగా ప్రవర్తించువాడు యెహోవాయందు భయభక్తులుగలవాడు కుటిలచిత్తుడు ఆయనను తిరస్కరించువాడు,
2. He that walketh in his uprightness feareth the LORD, but he that is perverse in his ways despiseth Him.
3. మూఢుల నోట బెత్తమువంటి గర్వమున్నది. జ్ఞానుల పెదవులు వారిని కాపాడును.
3. The mouth of the foolish is a rod of pride, but the lips of the wise shall preserve him.
4. ఎద్దులు లేని చోట గాదెయందు ధాన్యముండదు ఎద్దుల బలముచేత విస్తారము వచ్చుబడి కలుగును
4. Where no oxen are, the crib is clean, but much increase comes by the strength of the ox.
5. నమ్మక మైన సాక్షి అబద్ధమాడడు కూటసాక్షికి అబద్ధములు ప్రియములు.
5. A faithful witness will not lie, but a false witness will utter lies.
6. అపహాసకుడు జ్ఞానము వెదకుట వ్యర్థము. తెలివిగలవానికి జ్ఞానము సులభము.
6. A scorner seeketh wisdom and findeth it not, but knowledge is easy unto him that understandeth.
7. బుద్ధిహీనుని యెదుటనుండి వెళ్లిపొమ్ము జ్ఞానవచనములు వానియందు కనబడవు గదా?
7. Go from the presence of a foolish man when thou perceivest not in him the lips of knowledge.
8. తమ ప్రవర్తనను కనిపెట్టి యుండుట వివేకుల జ్ఞానము నకు లక్షణము మోసకృత్యములే బుద్ధిహీనులు కనుపరచు మూఢత.
8. The wisdom of the prudent is to understand his way, but the folly of fools is to be deceived.
9. మూఢులు చేయు అపరాధపరిహారార్థబలి వారిని అపహాస్యము చేయును యథార్థవంతులు ఒకరియందు ఒకరు దయ చూపుదురు.
9. Fools mock at sin, but among the righteous there is favor.
10. ఎవని దుఃఖము వాని హృదయమునకే తెలియును ఒకని సంతోషములో అన్యుడు పాలివాడు కానే రడు.
10. The heart knoweth his own bitterness, and a stranger doth not intermeddle with his joy.
11. భక్తిహీనుల యిల్లు నిర్మూలమగును యథార్థవంతుల గుడారము వర్థిల్లును.
11. The house of the wicked shall be overthrown, but the tabernacle of the upright shall flourish.
12. ఒకని యెదుట సరియైనదిగా కనబడు మార్గము కలదు అయితే తుదకు అది మరణమునకు త్రోవతీయును.
12. There is a way which seemeth right unto a man, but the end thereof are the ways of death.
13. ఒకడు నవ్వుచుండినను హృదయమున దుఃఖముండ వచ్చును. సంతోషము తుదకు వ్యసనమగును.
13. Even in laughter the heart is sorrowful, and the end of that mirth is heaviness.
14. భక్తి విడిచినవాని మార్గములు వానికే వెక్కసమగును మంచివాని స్వభావము వానికే సంతోషమిచ్చును.
14. The backslider in heart shall be filled with his own ways, and a good man shall be satisfied from himself.
15. జ్ఞానము లేనివాడు ప్రతి మాట నమ్మును వివేకియైనవాడు తన నడతలను బాగుగా కనిపెట్టును.
15. The simple believeth every word, but the prudent man looketh well to his going.
16. జ్ఞానముగలవాడు భయపడి కీడునుండి తొలగును బుద్ధిహీనుడు విఱ్ఱవీగి నిర్భయముగా తిరుగును.
16. A wise man feareth, and departeth from evil, but the fool rageth and is confident.
17. త్వరగా కోపపడువాడు మూఢత్వము చూపును. దుర్యోచనలుగలవాడు ద్వేషింపబడును.
17. He that is soon angry dealeth foolishly, and a man of wicked devices is hated.
18. జ్ఞానము లేనివారికి మూఢత్వమే స్వాస్థ్యము వివేకులు జ్ఞానమును కిరీటముగా ధరించుకొందురు.
18. The simple inherit folly, but the prudent are crowned with knowledge.
19. చెడ్డవారు మంచివారి యెదుటను భక్తిహీనులు నీతిమంతుల తలుపునొద్దను వంగుదురు.
19. The evil bow before the good, the wicked at the gates of the righteous.
20. దరిద్రుడు తన పొరుగువారికి అసహ్యుడు ఐశ్వర్యవంతుని ప్రేమించువారు అనేకులు.
20. The poor is hated even by his own neighbor, but the rich hath many friends.
21. తన పొరుగువాని తిరస్కరించువాడు పాపము చేయు వాడు బీదలను కటాక్షించువాడు ధన్యుడు.
21. He that despiseth his neighbor sinneth, but he that hath mercy on the poor, happy is he.
22. కీడు కల్పించువారు తప్పిపోవుదురు మేలు కల్పించువారు కృపాసత్యముల నొందుదురు.
22. Do they not err that devise evil? But mercy and truth shall be to them that devise good.
23. ఏ కష్టము చేసినను లాభమే కలుగును వట్టి మాటలు లేమిడికి కారణములు.
23. In all labor there is profit, but the talk of the lips tendeth only to penury.
24. జ్ఞానుల ఐశ్వర్యము వారికి భూషణము బుద్ధిహీనుల మూఢత్వము మూఢత్వమే.
24. The crown of the wise is their riches, but the foolishness of fools is folly.
25. నిజము పలుకు సాక్షి మనుష్యులను రక్షించును అబద్ధములాడువాడు వట్టి మోసగాడు.
25. A truthful witness delivereth souls, but a deceitful witness speaketh lies.
26. యెహోవాయందు భయభక్తులు కలిగియుండుట బహు ధైర్యము పుట్టించును
26. In the fear of the LORD is strong confidence, and His children shall have a place of refuge.
27. అట్టివారి పిల్లలకు ఆశ్రయస్థానము కలదు. యెహోవాయందు భయభక్తులు కలిగియుండుట జీవపు ఊట అది మరణపాశములలోనుండి విడిపించును
27. The fear of the LORD is a fountain of life to depart from the snares of death.
28. జనసమృద్ధి కలుగుటచేత రాజులకు ఘనత వచ్చును జనక్షయము రాజులకు వినాశకరము.
28. In a multitude of people is the honor of the king, but the lack of people is the destruction of the prince.
29. దీర్ఘశాంతముగలవాడు మహా వివేకి ముంగోపి మూఢత్వమును బహుమానముగా పొం దును.
29. He that is slow to wrath is of great understanding, but he that is hasty of spirit exalteth folly.
30. సాత్వికమైన మనస్సు శరీరమునకు జీవము మత్సరము ఎముకలకు కుళ్లు.
30. A sound heart is the life of the flesh, but envy is the rottenness of the bones.
31. దరిద్రుని బాధించువాడు వాని సృష్టికర్తను నిందించు వాడు బీదను కనికరించువాడు ఆయనను ఘనపరచువాడు.
31. He that oppresseth the poor reproacheth his Maker, but he that honoreth Him hath mercy on the poor.
32. అపాయము రాగా భక్తిహీనుడు నశించును మరణకాలమందు నీతిమంతునికి ఆశ్రయము కలదు.
32. The wicked is driven away in his wickedness, but the righteous hath hope in his death.
33. తెలివిగలవాని హృదయమందు జ్ఞానము సుఖనివా సము చేయును బుద్ధిహీనుల అంతరంగములోనున్నది బయలుపడును
33. Wisdom resteth in the heart of him that hath understanding, but that which is innermost in fools is made known.
34. నీతి జనములు ఘనతకెక్కుటకు కారణము పాపము ప్రజలకు అవమానము తెచ్చును.
34. Righteousness exalteth a nation, but sin is a reproach to any people.
35. బుద్ధిగల సేవకుడు రాజుల కిష్టుడు అవమానకరముగా నడచువానిమీద రాజు కోపించును
35. The king's favor is toward a wise servant, but his wrath is against him that causeth shame.
