Job - యోబు 3
1. ఆ తరువాత యోబు మాటలాడ మొదలుపెట్టి తాను పుట్టిన దినమును శపించెను.
1. After this opened Job his mouth and cursed his day.
2. యోబు ఈలాగు అనెను
2. And Job spoke and said:
3. నా తల్లి గర్భద్వారములను అది మూయనందుకును నా నేత్రములకు అది బాధను మరుగు చేయనందుకును నేను పుట్టిన దినము లేకపోవును గాకమగపిల్ల పుట్టెనని ఒకడు చెప్పిన రాత్రి లేక పోవును గాక.
3. "Let the day perish wherein I was born, and the night in which it was said, `There is a manchild conceived.'
4. ఆ దినము అంధకారమగును గాకపైనుండి దేవుడు దాని నెంచకుండును గాకవెలుగు దానిమీద ప్రకాశింపకుండును గాక
4. Let that day be darkness; let not God regard it from above, neither let the light shine upon it.
5. చీకటియు గాఢాంధకారమును మరల దానిని తమ యొద్దకు తీసికొనును గాక.మేఘము దాని కమ్మును గాకపగలును కమ్మునట్టి అంధకారముదాని బెదరించును గాక
5. Let darkness and the shadow of death stain it; let a cloud dwell upon it; let the blackness of the day terrify it.
6. అంధకారము ఆ రాత్రిని పట్టుకొనును గాకసంవత్సరపు దినములలో నేనొకదాననని అది హర్షింపకుండును గాకమాసముల సంఖ్యలో అది చేరకుండును గాక.
6. As for that night, let darkness seize upon it; let it not be joined unto the days of the year, let it not come into the number of the months.
7. ఆ రాత్రి యెవడును జననము కాకపోవును గాకదానిలో ఏ ఉత్సాహధ్వని పుట్టకుండును గాక
7. Lo, let that night be solitary; let no joyful voice come therein.
8. దినములు అశుభదినములని చెప్పువారు దానిని శపించుదురు గాకభుజంగమును రేపుటకు నేర్పుగలవారు దానిని శపించు దురు గాక.
8. Let them curse it that curse the day, who are ready to raise up their mourning.
9. అందులో సంధ్యవేళను ప్రకాశించు నక్షత్రములకు అంధకారము కమ్మును గాకవెలుగుకొరకు అది యెదురుచూడగా వెలుగు లేకపోవును గాక
9. Let the stars of the twilight thereof be dark; let it look for light, but have none; neither let it see the dawning of the day,
10. అది వేకువ కనురెప్పలను చూడకుండును గాకపుట్టుకలోనే నేనేల చావకపోతిని?
10. because it shut not up the doors of my mother's womb, nor hid sorrow from mine eyes.
11. గర్భమునుండి బయలుదేరగానే నేనేల ప్రాణము విడువక పోతిని?
11. "Why died I not from the womb? Why did I not give up the ghost when I came out of the belly?
12. మోకాళ్లమీద నన్నేల ఉంచుకొనిరి?నేనేల స్తనములను కుడిచితిని?
12. Why did the knees precede me, or why the breasts that I should suck?
13. లేనియెడల నేనిప్పుడు పండుకొని నిమ్మళించి యుందునునేను నిద్రించియుందును, నాకు విశ్రాంతి కలిగి యుండును
13. For now should I have lain still and been quiet, I should have slept; then would I have been at rest
14. తమకొరకు బీడుభూములయందు భవనములు కట్టించు కొనిన భూరాజులతోను మంత్రులతోను నేను నిద్రించి నిమ్మళించియుందును.
14. with kings and counselors of the earth, who built desolate places for themselves,
15. బంగారము సంపాదించి తమ యిండ్లను వెండితో నింపుకొనిన అధిపతులతో నిద్రించి విశ్రమించి యుందును.
15. or with princes that had gold, who filled their houses with silver;
16. అకాలసంభవమై కంటబడకయున్న పిండమువంటివాడనై లేకపోయి యుందును.వెలుగు చూడని బిడ్డలవలె లేకపోయి యుందును.
16. or as a hidden untimely birth I would not have been, as infants who never saw light.
17. అక్కడ దుర్మార్గులు ఇక శ్రమపరచరు బలహీనులై అలసినవారు విశ్రాంతి నొందుదురు
17. There the wicked cease from troubling, and there the weary be at rest.
18. బంధింపబడినవారు కార్యనియామకుల శబ్దము వినక యేకముగా కూడి విశ్రమించుదురు
18. There the prisoners rest together; they hear not the voice of the oppressor.
19. అల్పులేమి ఘనులేమి అందరు నచ్చటనున్నారుదాసులు తమ యజమానుల వశమునుండి తప్పించుకొని స్వతంత్రులై యున్నారు.
19. The small and great are there, and the servant is free from his master.
20. దుర్దశలోనున్న వారికి వెలుగియ్యబడుట ఏల?దుఃఖా క్రాంతులైనవారికి జీవమియ్యబడుట ఏల?
20. "Why is light given to him that is in misery, and life unto the bitter in soul,
21. వారు మరణము నపేక్షింతురు దాచబడిన ధనముకొరకైనట్టు దానిని కనుగొనుటకైవారు లోతుగా త్రవ్వుచున్నారు గాని అది వారికి దొరకక యున్నది.
ప్రకటన గ్రంథం 9:6
21. who long for death but it cometh not, and dig for it more than for hidden treasures;
22. సమాధికి చేరినప్పుడు వారు హర్షించి బహుగా సంతోషించెదరు.
22. who rejoice exceedingly, and are glad when they can find the grave?
23. మరుగుపడిన మార్గముగలవానికిని, దేవుడు చుట్టుకంచె వేసినవానికిని వెలుగు ఇయ్యబడనేల?
23. Why is light given to a man whose way is hid, and whom God hath hedged in?
24. భోజనమునకు మారుగా నాకు నిట్టూర్పు కలుగుచున్నదినా మొఱ్ఱలు నీళ్లవలె ప్రవహించుచున్నవి.
24. For my sighing cometh before I eat, and my roarings are poured out like the waters.
25. ఏది వచ్చునని నేను బహుగా భయపడితినో అదియేనాకు సంభవించుచున్నదినాకు భీతి పుట్టించినదే నామీదికి వచ్చుచున్నది.
25. For the thing which I greatly feared is come upon me, and that which I was afraid of is come unto me.
26. నాకు నెమ్మది లేదు సుఖము లేదు విశ్రాంతి లేదు శ్రమయే సంభవించుచున్నది.
26. I was not in safety, neither had I rest, neither was I quiet; yet trouble came."
