1. సర్వశక్తుడగువాడు నియామకకాలములను ఎందుకు... ఏర్పాటుచేయడు?ఆయన నెరిగియున్నవారు ఆయన దినములను ఎందు చేత చూడకున్నారు?
1. "Why, seeing times are not hidden from the Almighty, do they that know Him not, see His days?
2. సరిహద్దు రాళ్లను తీసివేయువారు కలరు వారు అక్రమముచేసి మందలను ఆక్రమించుకొనివాటిని మేపుదురు.
2. Some remove the landmarks; they violently take away flocks and feed thereof.
3. తండ్రిలేనివారి గాడిదను తోలివేయుదురు విధవరాలి యెద్దును తాకట్టుగా తీసికొందురు
3. They drive away the ass of the fatherless; they take the widow's ox as a pledge.
4. వారు మార్గములోనుండి దరిద్రులను తొలగించివేయుదురుదేశములోని బీదలు ఎవరికిని తెలియకుండ దాగవలసి వచ్చెను.
4. They turn the needy out of the way; the poor of the earth hide themselves together.
5. అరణ్యములోని అడవిగాడిదలు తిరుగునట్లుబీదవారు తమ పనిమీద బయలుదేరి వేటను వెదకుదురుఎడారిలో
వారి పిల్లలకు ఆహారము దొరకును
5. Behold, as wild asses in the desert go they forth to their work, rising early for a prey; the wilderness yieldeth food for them and for their children.
6. పొలములో వారు తమకొరకు గడ్డి కోసికొందురుదుష్టుల ద్రాక్షతోటలలో పరిగ ఏరుదురు.
6. They reap every one his corn in the field, and they gather the vintage of the wicked.
7. బట్టలులేక రాత్రి అంతయు పండుకొనియుందురుచలిలో వస్త్రహీనులై పడియుందురు.
7. They cause the naked to lodge without clothing, that they have no covering in the cold.
8. పర్వతములమీది జల్లులకు తడిసియుందురుచాటులేనందున బండను కౌగలించుకొందురు.
8. They are wet with the showers of the mountains, and embrace the rock for want of a shelter.
9. తండ్రిలేని పిల్లను రొమ్మునుండి లాగువారు కలరువారు దరిద్రులయొద్ద తాకట్టు పుచ్చుకొందురు
9. They pluck the fatherless from the breast, and take a pledge from the poor.
10. దరిద్రులు వస్త్రహీనులై బట్టలులేక తిరుగులాడుదురుఆకలిగొని పనలను మోయుదురు.
10. They cause him to go naked without clothing, and they take away the sheaf from the hungry,
11. వారు తమ యజమానుల గోడలలోపల నూనె గానుగ లను ఆడించుదురుద్రాక్ష గానుగలను త్రొక్కుచు దప్పిగలవారైయుందురు.
11. who make oil within their walls, and tread their wine presses, and suffer thirst.
12. జనముగల పట్టణములో మూలుగుదురుగాయపరచబడినవారు మొఱ్ఱపెట్టుదురు అయినను జరుగునది అక్రమమని దేవుడు ఎంచడు.
12. Men groan from out of the city, and the soul of the wounded crieth out; yet God layeth not folly to them.
13. వెలుగుమీద తిరుగబడువారు కలరువీరు దాని మార్గములను గురుతుపట్టరుదాని త్రోవలలో నిలువరు.
13. "They are of those that rebel against the light; they know not the ways thereof, nor abide in the paths thereof.
14. తెల్లవారునప్పుడు నరహంతకుడు లేచునువాడు దరిద్రులను లేమిగలవారిని చంపునురాత్రియందు వాడు దొంగతనము చేయును.
14. The murderer, rising with the light, killeth the poor and needy, and in the night is as a thief.
15. వ్యభిచారిఏ కన్నైనను నన్ను చూడదనుకొని తన ముఖమునకు ముసుకు వేసికొని సందె చీకటికొరకు కనిపెట్టును.
15. The eye also of the adulterer waiteth for the twilight, saying, `No eye shall see me,' and disguiseth his face.
16. చీకటిలో వారు కన్నము వేయుదురుపగలు దాగుకొందురువారు వెలుగు చూడనొల్లరు
16. In the dark they dig through houses which they had marked for themselves in the daytime; they know not the light.
17. వారందరు ఉదయమును మరణాంధకారముగాఎంచుదురు.గాఢాంధకార భయము ఎట్టిదైనది వారికి తెలిసియున్నది.
17. For the morning is to them even as the shadow of death; if one know them, they are in the terrors of the shadow of death.
18. జలములమీద వారు తేలికగా కొట్టుకొని పోవుదురువారి స్వాస్థ్యము భూమిమీద శాపగ్రస్తముద్రాక్షతోటల మార్గమున వారు ఇకను నడువరు.
18. "He is swift as the waters; their portion is cursed on the earth; he beholdeth not the way of the vineyards.
19. అనావృష్టిచేతను ఉష్ణముచేతను మంచు నీళ్లు ఎగసి పోవునట్లుపాతాళము పాపముచేసినవారిని పట్టుకొనును.
19. Drought and heat consume the snow waters; so doth the grave those who have sinned.
20. కన్నగర్భము వారిని మరచును, పురుగు వారిని కమ్మగా తినివేయునువారు మరి ఎప్పుడును జ్ఞాపకములోనికి రారువృక్షము విరిగి పడిపోవునట్లు దుర్మార్గులు పడిపోవుదురు
20. The womb shall forget him, the worm shall feed sweetly on him; he shall be no more remembered, and wickedness shall be broken as a tree.
21. వారు పిల్లలు కనని గొడ్రాండ్రను బాధపెట్టుదురువిధవరాండ్రకు మేలుచేయరు.
21. He evilly treateth the barren that beareth not, and doeth not good to the widow.
22. ఆయన తన బలముచేతను బలవంతులను కాపాడుచున్నాడుకొందరు ప్రాణమునుగూర్చి ఆశ విడిచినను వారు మరల బాగుపడుదురు.
22. He draweth also the mighty with his power; he riseth up, and no man is sure of life.
23. ఆయన వారికి అభయమును దయచేయును గనుక వారు ఆధారము నొందుదురుఆయన వారి మార్గముల మీద తన దృష్టి నుంచును
23. Though it be given him to be in safety whereon he resteth, yet his eyes are upon their ways.
24. వారు హెచ్చింపబడిననుకొంతసేపటికి లేకపోవుదురువారు హీనస్థితిలో చొచ్చి ఇతరులందరివలె త్రోయబడుదురు, పండిన వెన్నులవలె కోయబడుదురు.
24. They are exalted for a little while, but are gone and brought low; they are taken out of the way as all others, and cut off as the tops of the ears of corn.
25. ఇప్పుడు ఈలాగు జరుగని యెడల నేను అబద్ధికుడనని రుజువుపరచువాడెవడు? నా మాటలు వట్టివని దృష్టాంతపరచువాడెవడు?
25. And if it be not so now, who will make me a liar and make my speech worth nothing?"
