Genesis - ఆదికాండము 33
1. యాకోబు కన్నులెత్తి చూచినప్పుడు ఏశావును . అతనితో నాలుగువందలమంది మనుష్యులును వచ్చు చుండిరి.
1. And Jacob lifted up his eyes and looked, and behold, Esau came and with him four hundred men. And he divided the children among Leah and Rachel and the two handmaids.
2. అప్పుడతడు తన పిల్లలను లేయా రాహేలుల కును ఇద్దరు దాసీలకును పంచి అప్పగించెను. అతడు ముందర దాసీలను, వారి పిల్లలను వారి వెనుక లేయాను ఆమె పిల్లలను ఆ వెనుక రాహేలును ¸
2. And he put the handmaids and their children foremost, and Leah and her children after, and Rachel and Joseph hindmost.
3. తాను వారి ముందర వెళ్లుచు తన సహోదరుని సమీపించు వరకు ఏడుమార్లు నేలను సాగిలపడెను.
3. And he passed over before them, and bowed himself to the ground seven times until he came near to his brother.
4. అప్పుడు ఏశావు అతనిని ఎదుర్కొన పరుగెత్తి అతనిని కౌగలించుకొని అతని మెడమీద పడి ముద్దుపెట్టుకొనెను; వారిద్దరు కన్నీరు విడిచిరి.
4. And Esau ran to meet him, and embraced him and fell on his neck and kissed him; and they wept.
5. ఏశావు కన్నులెత్తి ఆ స్త్రీలను పిల్లలను చూచివీరు నీకేమి కావలెనని అడిగినందుకు అతడు వీరు దేవుడు నీ సేవకునికి దయచేసిన పిల్లలే అని చెప్పెను.
5. And he lifted up his eyes, and saw the women and the children, and said, "Who are those with thee?" And he said, "The children which God hath graciously given thy servant."
6. అప్పుడు ఆ దాసీలును వారి పిల్లలును దగ్గరకువచ్చి సాగిలపడిరి.
6. Then the handmaidens came near, they and their children, and they bowed themselves.
7. లేయాయు ఆమె పిల్లలును దగ్గరకువచ్చి సాగిలపడిరి. ఆ తరువాత యోసేపును రాహేలును దగ్గరకు వచ్చి సాగిల పడిరి.
7. And Leah also with her children came near and bowed themselves; and after these came Joseph and Rachel near, and they bowed themselves.
8. ఏశావునాకు ఎదురుగావచ్చిన ఆ గుంపంతయు ఎందుకని అడుగగా అతడునా ప్రభువు కటాక్షము నా మీద వచ్చుటకే అని చెప్పెను.
8. And he said, "What meanest thou by all this drove which I met?" And he said, "These are to find grace in the sight of my lord."
9. అప్పుడు ఏశావుసహోదరుడా, నాకు కావలసినంత ఉన్నది, నీది నీవే ఉంచుకొమ్మని చెప్పెను.
9. And Esau said, "I have enough, my brother. Keep what thou hast unto thyself."
10. అప్పుడు యాకోబు అట్లు కాదు; నీ కటాక్షము నామీద నున్నయెడల చిత్తగించి నాచేత ఈ కానుక పుచ్చుకొనుము, దేవుని ముఖము చూచినట్లు నీ ముఖము చూచితిని; నీ కటాక్షము నామీద వచ్చినది గద
10. And Jacob said, "Nay, I pray thee, if now I have found grace in thy sight, then receive my present at my hand; for therefore I have seen thy face as though I had seen the face of God, and thou wast pleased with me.
11. నేను నీయొద్దకు తెచ్చిన కానుకను చిత్త గించి పుచ్చుకొనుము; దేవుడు నన్ను కనికరించెను; మరియు నాకు కావలసినంత ఉన్నదని చెప్పి అతని బల వంతము చేసెను గనుక అతడు దాని పుచ్చుకొని
11. Take, I pray thee, my blessing that is brought to thee, because God hath dealt graciously with me, and because I have enough." And he urged him, and he took it.
12. మనము వెళ్లుదము; నేను నీకు ముందుగా సాగిపోవుదు నని చెప్పగా
12. And he said, "Let us take our journey; and let us go, and I will go before thee."
13. అతడునాయొద్ద నున్న పిల్లలు పసిపిల్ల లనియు, గొఱ్ఱెలు మేకలు పశువులు పాలిచ్చునవి అనియు నా ప్రభువుకు తెలియును. ఒక్కదినమే వాటిని వడిగా తోలినయెడల ఈ మంద అంతయు చచ్చును.
13. And he said unto him, "My lord knoweth that the children are tender, and the flocks and herds with young are with me; and if men should overdrive them one day, all the flock will die.
14. నా ప్రభువు దయచేసి తన దాసునికి ముందుగా వెళ్లవలెను. నేను నా ప్రభువునొద్దకు శేయీరునకు వచ్చువరకు, నా ముందర నున్న మందలు నడువగలిగిన కొలదిని ఈ పిల్లలు నడువగలిగినకొలదిని వాటిని మెల్లగా నడిపించుకొని వచ్చెద నని అతనితో చెప్పెను.
14. Let my lord, I pray thee, pass over before his servant; and I will lead on gently, according as the cattle that goeth before me and the children are able to endure, until I come unto my lord unto Seir."
15. అప్పుడు ఏశావునీ కిష్టమైన యెడల నాయొద్దనున్న యీ జనులలో కొందరిని నీ యొద్ద విడిచిపెట్టుదునని చెప్పగా అతడు అదియేల? నా ప్రభువు కటాక్షము నామీద నుండనిమ్మనెను.
15. And Esau said, "Let me now leave with thee some of the folk who are with me." And he said, "What need is there? Let me find grace in the sight of my lord."
16. ఆ దినమున ఏశావు తన త్రోవను శేయీరునకు తిరిగిపోయెను.
16. So Esau returned that day on his way unto Seir.
17. అప్పుడు యాకోబు సుక్కోతుకు ప్రయాణమై పోయి తనకొకయిల్లు కట్టించుకొని తన పశువులకు పాకలు వేయించెను. అందుచేత ఆ చోటికి సుక్కోతు అను పేరు పెట్టబడెను.
17. And Jacob journeyed to Succoth, and built him a house, and made booths for his cattle. Therefore the name of the place is called Succoth [that is, Booths].
18. అట్లు యాకోబు పద్దనరాములో నుండి వచ్చిన తరువాత కనాను దేశములోనున్న షెకెమను ఊరికి సురక్షితముగా వచ్చి ఆ ఊరిముందర తన గుడారములు వేసెను.
18. And Jacob came to Shalem, a city of Shechem which is in the land of Canaan, when he came from Padanaram, and pitched his tent before the city.
19. మరియు అతడు తన గుడారములు వేసిన పొలముయొక్క భాగమును షెకెము తండ్రియైన హమోరు కుమారులయొద్ద నూరు వరహాలకు కొని

19. And he bought a parcel of a field where he had spread his tent, at the hand of the children of Hamor, Shechem's father, for a hundred pieces of money.
20. అక్కడ ఒక బలిపీఠము కట్టించి దానికి ఏల్ ఎలోహేయి ఇశ్రాయేలు అను పేరు పెట్టెను.
20. And he erected there an altar, and called it El-elohe-Israel [that is, God, the God of Israel].
1. యాకోబు కన్నులెత్తి చూచినప్పుడు ఏశావును . అతనితో నాలుగువందలమంది మనుష్యులును వచ్చు చుండిరి.

7. And Leah also with her children came near and bowed themselves; and after these came Joseph and Rachel near, and they bowed themselves.
8. ఏశావునాకు ఎదురుగావచ్చిన ఆ గుంపంతయు ఎందుకని అడుగగా అతడునా ప్రభువు కటాక్షము నా మీద వచ్చుటకే అని చెప్పెను.
